Went there once, and the food was ok, but definitely not a «family friendly» place. Glad they closed it, because if the girls wore any less, it would have had to be X-rated. They were going for the sex-appeal, and that just isn’t family friendly to me. No need for it here in the southwest suburbs.

I stopped by with a coworker today and because I was on a fish kick I decided to do what everyone else has already done — eat fish tacos. I’ve never had them before and I have to say as much as I find fish boring, this blackened cod was actually worth eating. I’d order them again.

1. They have a touch tones kiosk but we couldn’t play any hip hop!!! They banned hip hop and rap saying«it’s too urban»… #BlackLivesMatter

The burger was delicious. I ordered a Margarita and it tasted like hot sour mix. The server said they get this complaint alot. I don’t understand why they are not doing anything about it.

What can I say, other than it pays to be a regular at any restaurant. I enjoy the Irish pub atmosphere. I’m a Chicago Blackhawks super fan and this place has as much energy, if not more than Madhouse on Madison. The management staff is extremely professional, personable & friendly, much like their bussers & servers. I have a handful of regular waitresses that know me so well that my drink & appetizer orders are almost ready as I walk through the door. Waitresses that never served me, know me and converse with me as well. Especially tonight when waitresses that weren’t my regular were wishing me a happy birthday. So my best advice for you? Find a restaurant that you like. Become a regular. Respect the entire staff. Say thank you. TIPWELL. Then you may find yourself having the best dining experiences like I do. Thank you Tilted Kilt Chicago Ridge for years of excellence & great experiences. What do we do now that hockey season is over? LOL!

This is one of my favorite spots to watch sports. Started going on a weekly basis for Monday Night Football a couple years ago, and quickly became a regular. All the waitresses are nice and do their jobs well. As far as food goes, I’ve never been unhappy. The wings are great, and the garlic parmesan is actually better than Buffalo Wild Wings in my opinion. They have different burgers all the time, and I’ve loved every one I’ve tried. They have delicious wraps that you can get made exactly how you want. They even have a few dinner specials that keep you coming back. Onion rings are the best I’ve had in a long time, and their fries are seasoned to perfection. Definitely recommend for a good night of sports and delicious food.

The ladies are dolls, but my beloved pool table and darts are gone, baby, gone. Their normally yummy«Black & Bleu» burger was bland aside from black pepper. Mai Tai was weak as hell and tasted like straight up orange juice so I had to order 2 sidecars of rum. To add insult to injury, they had rap blaring and GOLF on the projection screens. Gtfo

Visited a Tilted Kilt for the first time to watch Thursday night football. Hostesses and waitress staff all very friendly. We requested the NFL network and very quickly the game was on. Food was very good. Portions generous. We ordered the garlic french fries, mushroom swiss burger & the southwestern wrap. Beer selection was not impressive. Overall a good experience.

The burgers are great but the seasonal corned beef is killer!!! It is quite noisy & the service is hit or miss, but the seasonal corned beef keeps me coming back, at least every March LOL

First, use Unilocal coupons! Overall the experience was nice, but really i’ve experienced better… So I went for a late night dinner with my friend. We decided to check out the TiltedKilt. The restaurant is looked very new, clean and has a very good interior. There is a lot of TVs to watch sports and in fact Blackhawks were on when we got there. Sadly, we waited for a long time to get served… I think they forgot about us. It was after my friend went to the front desk to find out what is going on, we were served… The waitress was very polite and courteous. We got garlic fries for appetizers and they were very delicious. The burger that I got was average and I was neither impressed nor upset. In DT location they serve better burgers though. It was edible. In conclusion, the atmosphere is great there but the food is average. Hope this helps,

I was able to take in the sights and smells of this establishment on the behest of my significant other who wanted to patronize a place full of sports television programs and skinny school-girl mini-skirt clad women slinging beef and beer. The location was quite well set-up as were the televisions for watching the Blackhawks; they didn’t do so well, but it was quite an interesting game. Anyway. The menu is quite impressive. Burgers, nachos, appetizers. I especially liked their upgrade portion price so that you can get a good serving of the tasty foods they prepare in the back. Our waitress was quite helpful, but her lack of knowledge on certain items was noticeable. We laughed out joyously when we read another reviewer’s summation of the intelligence of the waitstaff. These poor girls are skinny enough, you think it’s easy looking that good and being surrounded by that much great food? They probably faint in the corner of the bar from drinking their calories instead of sitting down and getting fat as hell like the rest of the South Side Irish gals I know. No offense, I like you fluffy paddy girls! We were treated very well and enjoyed the grub. Cannot complain and we showed our appreciation for it! At the end, it was a good value. Try the wings… I’m drooling thinking about them right now, and it’s 9am!

Hanging out with a group of friends and we were looking for a place to socialize and grab some food and drinks. Although it wasn’t our first choice there were a few surprises. Plenty of screens, although this night they were all tuned to the hockey game. They had drink specials but the waitresses didn’t seem to know exactly what they were. We got conflicting specials from 3 different waitresses. The food was basic bar fair with a lot of staples. But the waitresses being dressed in short kilts with belly shirts, with a lot of tattooed exposed skin was tacky. Actually, it seemed like a downgraded version of Hooters. Hooters was our first choice but they had a extremely long wait… This place didn’t have a wait… I’m thinking maybe we should’ve waited but willing to give them another chance at some point.

First walking in our hostess was very friendly and even let us pick out where we wanted to sit. This is something I always love, since I don’t want to be right on top of the next table. Our server, was on top of it. Drinks right out, apps came out hot and fast, and then knew to refill our drinks without asking. Will be going back more often, plus they have a Unilocal deal with check in!

The place is hardly ever packed which shocks me! I know this place is super popular with my male coworkers & I actually do like the food here, I guess I just don’t like THIS particular location because it’s dead & they stopped showing MMA/UFC fights. I also wish they had lambics & better hot wings on the menu but whatever.

I’m disappointed there are a bunch of reviews here providing an excuse, asking for forgiveness, all for the fact there are waitresses there who wear less than your average pub server. Well, let me be the first to say, I can feel good about going to church on sundays, coming home and kissing my wife after a trip to the Tilted Kilt because I know and EVERYONE knows it’s all in good fun. What can they say, sex sells everywhere… I’d rather go in the tilted kilt over any other pub type chain(houlis, applebees, chilis, tgifridays, I could go on) and that is just for the girls. Welcome to the 21 Century all you«scarrrred» to say this place is great for girls first and foremost. Oh and if you like irish fare, and cold beer and sports on almost every tv this place will work for you too.

Let’s get something straight here so we’ve got no preconceived notions or false perceptions going into this. The waitress at TK are hired for their bodies not their brains. If you’re looking for intelligence or professionalism, you’re in the wrong place. That said, if you can deal with the fact that your waitress is half naked and(with a few exceptions) has the intelligence of a toaster, the food is worth a trip here. Kilt is a chain restaurant for sure, but they have some of the best chain restaurant/sports bar food out there. They beat Friday’s and Chili’s hands down.(Houlihan’s still holds my chain restaurant heart though.) I highly recommend the pretzel sticks appetizer. The burgers are great. The garlic fries seem to be hit or miss, but when they’re good, they’re really good. The chicken tender salad is tasty. On my last visit I ordered the fish and chips which were even better than I expected. I’m not a fan of wings, but my friends all seem to love them. Bonus points for 15% off and free garlic fries as a Unilocal check in deal. I love a deal! They do occasionally try to charge a cover where there are events going on here, and this pisses me off beyond belief. I(kind of) understand when bars charge a cover for bands or pay-per-view events like UFC fights;, and I could MAYBE forgive them for charging a cover after 9 or 10 when most people are not there for dinner; however, I refuse to pay a cover charge to eat dinner. Twice I’ve walked away from this place and gone to Chili’s instead because they’ve been charging a cover at 7 pm.

I have been coming here sporadically the past few years and I love it !! I try stick to rating sports bars based on their beer selection, ability to watch sports, their food and service. TK gets it right everytime I go. I can watch my Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Hawks very comfortably from pretty much every seat in the house. They have a decent beer selection, not the biggest, but it is enough for a blue collar guy like me, but maybe not for a beer snob or hipster. TK fits in perfect at this location and seems to hold it’s own with BW3 and chili’s in the same shopping center. The food is good for a sports bar, I love their TK wings, nice and sweet, with an asian flair, i definitely recommend trying them. Their nachos with meat and all the fixings are tasty and are enough for three to four people to share as an appetizer. the burgers are good, but I recommend the pulled pork sandwich, lots of tender, flavorful pork, with coleslaw, in between a sturdy bun. A great choice with a side of their fries or if you like kick it up a notch with their garlic fries. YUM! I will definitely be back soon with Bulls next playoff run and baseball around the corner!

Have you been to Hooters? How about The Brickhouse? Well then you know the drill at the Tilted Kilt. Sports playing on TV’s everywhere. Bar food that skews male(how about a 20oz double burger?) And twenty somethings decked out in skimpy tops that show tons of cleavage and hip hugging mini«kilts» that leave alot of skin showing in between. Now before all you guys mumble«What’s wrong with that?» I get that I am not the target audience here. But even in a place that is geared toward men, I do expect decent service. Let me tell you, these girls think they know where their bread and butter comes from but they might want to expand their horizons. Like the bartender who couldn’t be bothered to get me a drink when I arrived as she was so caught up showing her belly button piercing to some guy at the bar. Or the«ditzy» hostess who asked why we were standing at her hostess stand. Uh…we’d like a table.. .…seemed obvious but maybe her top was tied too tightly. But in all fairness to the place– once we finally got to a table and our server, Steph came over, things got a whole lot better. Our server Steph was great. Smart, savvy and all this after only being on the job for only 4 days. She was the highlight of the place checking on ingredient lists when she couldn’t remember and rattling off the other menu items that showed her recent training. And she wore her kilt well. The food was just okay, but I suspect the grilled chicken and vegetables(pretty dry and tasteless) and the grilled chicken wrap(the better of the two options) are not the mainstay here. In fact– the black and blue burger, the meatloaf and the chili topped burger were called out as «customer favorites». Lunch for two ran about $ 25 which was cheap. There are beer and drink specials daily with those listed on the chalkboard by the bar. And plenty of free parking as this place sits on the pad of the Westfield Mall. Guys will probably love this place as the service is overly attentive(they actually sit down next to you when taking the order), the beer is cold and there is every sports game on in the place. Ladies, just take a deep breath before entering. The testosterone level is high. Just know that you will probably be invisible in the place. .. that is unless you are wearing your best push up bra and mini skirt!
