History

Established in 2007.

The Library Café is one of the many important services of the library. We offer a variety of drinks, freshly baked goods, sandwiches, salads and Coal Creek Coffee products for all Laramie County residents and visitors.

When asked what was wanted in their new library, Laramie County residents responded with three requests: 1. Meeting room space 2. A café with snacks and drinks 3. Quiet study rooms. All three items were included in the LEED certified, 103,593 square foot structure at 22nd and Pioneer that opened in September 2007. Community support in 2012 included 541,308 library visitors, nearly 700 public groups routinely booking meeting rooms, and 40,285 café visitors. Clearly, when the Laramie County community asks for services, they fully intend to use them!

All proceeds from The Library Café benefit the Laramie County Library System’s services and programs
