Extremely tight spots and low clearance especially for bigger SUVs. Parking lot under Bloomingdales is better and cheaper!

What what!?!
As I was leaving this rather overpriced garage (seriously $ 9 for 2 hours? Parking is cheaper in DC proper!), I handed the attendant my credit card.
He tells me that he’s not accepting credit cards — which is ridiculous because on the side of the glass booth CLEARLY says «Visa accepted». So I point to the sign and he tells me that he’s not accepting credit cards TODAY. So I dive into my wallet, even as I knew that I wouldn’t have enough cash — and handed him $ 6, and I tell him that is all the cash I had. He then proceeds to tell me to «look in your purse and car for coins». WHAT WHAT?! I made an halfassed effort to do so and told him that nope, I just don’t have enough, he just better accept my $ 6.
NOW, suddenly, accepting credit cards is not a problem?!? He ran my card for the $ 9, and mumbled and grumbled and gave me crap the whole time. I finally called him out on it and told him that his sign clearly says that they accepted credit cards, and he mumbled something about having trouble with the machines today… but look, he ran my card JUST FINE after I didn’t have enough cash on me.

EPIC FAIL.

terrible terrible parking. i never thought i would be the person who reviewed a parking garage, but this needs to be noted.
i went here today with a friend and right when we roll in, a man tells us to stop the car, hands us a ticket, and asks for the keys. this was new to us, but we obliged.
we ran our errands, grabbed lunch, and had to get out of there quickly because we had a meeting. however, we got back to the garage and the valet was nowhere to be found.
after several (read: pathetic slowly increasing to furious) «hellooooo“s, we didn’t know what to do. then i spotted the abandoned swivel chair and keybox. we approached the keybox and i said, «SURELY this is locked, isn’t it?» it wasn’t. we opened the keybox with absolutely NO effort, and were immediately face-​to-​face with keys to any car our hearts desired.
i furiously grabbed the proper keys and made sure to take down the lot’s information for this review. here you go, world. don’t say i didn’t warn you!
