I left my engagement to re-​size at Keshishian’s jewelry shop and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. My fiancé and I couldn’t tell that it had been re-​sized. He did an amazing job and I’m forever grateful. It doesn’t hurt that he and his wife are a very nice and kind couple. I could tell that he payed extreme attention to my directions of how I wanted my engagement ring to look. He did all this work in just 2 days. Not only did he do an OUTSTANDING job but he also polished the ring and left it looking brand new. Even the center diamond shines way more than it used to. Knowing Keshishian, he definitely cleaned my ring’s center diamond. I absolutely recommend Keshishian’s jewelry store!

My fiancé had my engagement ring re-​sized and refurbished here and all I can say is WOW! The ring is an antique and a family heirloom so it was important that it was handled with care. They replaced the 100 year-​old band with a newer platinum band and cleaned up the diamonds a lot. They did such an incredible job with it and I am constantly getting compliments on my ring! Adam and his wife are super friendly, very accommodating and did an amazing job on my ring. They specialize in antiques but I would recommend them for any jewelry job since they did such great work on mine. Thank you Keshishians for doing such a beautiful work!!!

I took two antique watches to this small family owned store and they charged hundreds of $$s to repair them. I paid the price because they seemed expert and reputable (based on their other Unilocal reviews). When both watches stopped working some months later and I took them back, the proprietor refused all responsibility and said I would need the original receipts to prove I’d ever brought them there — even though the owner was clearly familiar with the watches, has the records and was well aware that they had done the work.
Shockingly disreputable business: caveat emptor.

This friendly, family-​owned, customer service-​oriented jewelry store is a gem unto itself. I had occasion to go there from time to time many years ago when my wife and I lived in the area. They resized my wife’s diamond engagegment ring, redoing the band with white gold to replace the yellow, and inserted an extra diamond, all for a very reasonable price. The result was spectacular and not a day goes by that we don’t appreciate it. I happened to be in town on business this week after taking receipt of a beautiful watch I had just ordered from Amazon. Alas, the band was several links too large (as I knew it would be). I was delighted to discover that Adam Keshishian was still where I remembered it to be! He adjusted the band while I waited… for $ 15. Current residents of the area are fortunate to have such a wonderful business to serve them.

I live in the neighborhood and have used them for watch repairs for several years. They are always friendly, courteous and very reasonably priced. I recently purchased some jewelry and could not be happier. The prices were very fair and I know if there are any issues, they will be very honorable. They are a great family and a treasure for our neighborhood.

I wish I read some of the reviews before I stopped in. My Movado watch bangle bracelet lost its pin that holds the face of the watch to the bracelet. I stopped in to have the bracelet fixed. The woman that works at the counter told me that they could fix it. I asked her how long it would be to which she replied, «A few hours; the jeweler isn’t going to stop what he is doing just for you.”(I simply wanted to know when to return). When I picked up my bracelet, they charged $ 5 for the repair. When I got home and took my bracelet out of the bag, I was horrified to see that the silver face was all scratched up on one side. Then the bracelet broke again! I went back to the store and reported that my watch was not in the same condition as I left it. The same woman said, «Ma’am it is a USED watch!» I asked for my money back. I learned my lesson and I guess there is a reason why some jewelers should not be handling high end watches. Next time I will go to an authorized Movado center.

Allow me to preface by saying, I did not nor do I have any interest in reading any of the other reviews left in regards to Adam Keshishian. I had such a positive experience and final result that they just do not matter.
The one hiccup my wife and I might have experienced was communication I suppose. I believe his sister was out of town for some time and my wife’s engagement ring was placed on the hold shelf. Regardless, the Keshishian’s were able to not only restore a 130+ year old ring and make it into an absolute masterpiece, but also preserve its integrity. Other well to do with jewelers would not even think to take on such a task as emeralds are very hard to work with as they are quite delicate. Adam laid out his plan on how to strengthen the ring and correct certain flaws without thinking twice about it. His years in the business and confidence is what sold us.
Sure, I can tell you how much we paid… but that’s relative. You get what you pay for, and it really shows in this case. I will never let anyone else work on my wife’s gems other than the Keshishian’s as they have proven to be the best of the best. If you have jewelry that you truly care about and want to do right by it, look no further.

My wife and I purchased our wedding bands from Adam Keshishian Jewelers. We looked at several other places, both local jewelers and chain jewelry stores, before making our decision. More than anyone else we spoke to, Adam really took the time to answer our questions, explain the pros and cons of the various options, and share his thoughts on what we should consider in a wedding band. He gave us a very good price on the bands and did an excellent engraving job. He also re-​sized my band when after a few weeks of wearing it I decided it was a bit too loose on my finger. If you are in the market for jewelry I strongly recommend checking out Adam K.

I went in to inquire about a jewelry repair (clasp for silver bracelet). The man who inspected it did not appear to handle the jewelry carefully– and then proceeded to quote me $ 25 to tighten the clasp and said that he couldn’t replace it, but for an additional $ 35 he would add a silver chain as a backup lock. His rough handling of the bracelet and general attitude were offputting, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. At the next place I went — Boone and Sons– they fixed it for free in about 30 seconds (despite the fact that they don’t work with silver) and recommended another place if I had any additional problems!

Total slimeball. Went in to have a pin replaced in my watchband. Wanted to charge me $ 20! Every other place I have ever been it has either been free or $ 1. We are talking about a 10 cent piece and about 1 minute of work. When I questioned the fee, he replied, «hey, this is Chevy Chase. What do you expect.»
Here’s what I expect — good customer service. Adam Keshishian failed miserably!

I went in for a watch repair. It costs about $ 15 per battery… since it’s close to my house and family run, I decided to support it. I can’t really afford most of the jewelry there… but the siblings who run it are really friendly.
