It can get packed, trashy, crazy and wild sometimes — but it’s a blast. The games and patio are the best. I do wish the bar was larger in size. Good selection of brews. If you’re from here you won’t go here without seeing someone you know. It’s just a good hometown hangout.

This place is by far the coolest little hole in the wall bar. You can find it jammed pack on weekends and popular weeknight a. There is a good range of young, old, regulars and new customers. The outdoor patio is an awesome hangout space but the smoking can get a little heavy at times. There’s the option for good popular music and sometimes they have live bands upstairs. Prices are pretty standard. Best part is the free popcorn!

During a brief visit on the west side of town, I had the opportunity to check this place out. Located off of Harrison Ave, if you’re not paying attention you’ll pass it. Street parking available only. The place is pretty cool and inexpensive. Mature crowd, it appeared to be mostly couples hanging out. Staff quickly greeted us and were ready serve. I wish I could give the popcorn a shout out like my fellow Unilocalers, but I didn’t see any. Oh yeah… pool tables! I would visit this place again if I’m in the area.

Great local bar on the west side! Love the upstairs area where they have live bands playing. The outside area is nice also. Plus, you can’t beat the cheap drinks!

Welcome to Cheviot! Where you are basically going to find the real west siders or at least the ones that are afraid to venture out to the Banks or OTR still. Nothing wrong with that to be honest. I was one of those people a short time ago and this place is worth staying in Cheviot for. The place has a great beer selection on tap including left hand milk stout, one of my favorites. The outdoor area is very cool, good for meeting people or just people watching on the weekend. They had life size jenga which proved to be a good mixer game for some people I just met at the bar that night. I would visit this place more often if I lived closer to Cheviot.

I live up the street from this place and though I hate it with the heat of 1,000 suns in the summer for unleashing drunken people in my area, I have to give them credit for having a really good beer selection. I went in recently and was pleased to find that nearly all of the beers on tap were microbrews, some of which were local. Whoever picks their drinks definitely knows their stuff. That being said, while there I encountered several people who had obviously been overserved, and there was no real desire to stop them from buying more to drink — mgmt would be wise to be more mindful of this, as Cheviot cops don’t tolerate drunk driving. The bartender himself was a nice dude — just needs to know when to cut people who are already drunk off from buying multiple shots. The bar is pretty small, but as hole in the wall joints go, its one of the better ones in Cheviot. As for parking, speaking as someone who’s lived near this place for 3 years, 5⁄3 lot NEVER tows.

Fogarty’s is a great bar to visit if you’re in Cheviot or doing a Cheviot bar hop. The bar itself is decently sized, has a varied crowd, and there’s lots of parking in the neighborhood. They also have a great beer selection including craft beers, which is rare for a bar in the Cheviot area or west side in general. Additionally, there is a shuffleboard with an electronic scoreboard. This makes me really excited for some reason. Out of all of the bars in Cheviot, Fogarty’s is probably my favorite. People need to go out of their way to do Cheviot bar hops more often!

Come for the low price drinks and free popcorn, stay for the energetic crowd and awesome patio. As others have said, the prices are very reasonable so have another round… on me. ha ha. The bathrooms are clean and the knick-knacks that adorn the bar are funny and unique. If you’re in Cheviot and are looking for a nice place to chill, listen to some music, and have some good drinks, stop by Fogarty’s. *Parking is on the street and often close by and I would avoid parking at the 5⁄3 just in case someone decides to start towing.

Continuing my tour of the westside, this place kind of stood out to me for two reasons, one the free popcorn, and two the patio. This place wasn’t the cleanest, wasn’t really my crowd, but I had a great time here. I was surprised that they were one of the few places on the Westside that offered craft beer. The bartenders were friendly the patrons were easy going, and in general this is just a very chill spot. This wouldn’t be my go-to place but I would definitely go back if I were ever in the area.

An amazing patio and free popcorn with cheese and jalapeño seasoning. And nice bartenders to boot! And its Cheviot, so you know its going to be cheap. AND a breath-a-lizer machine hanging on the wall! The only downside is that the crowd tends to be a little young… and you have to trek to the West Side to get there. Otherwise, its a great stop on a Cheviot Pub Crawl!

Where Cheviot’s youth go to be that and that alone! Definitely a bit of a youth movement compared to your normal Chevioux crowd. Pool tables and jukebox come standard at all west side bars. This place was pretty packed on a Friday Dive Drive. Decent beer choices(for Harrison Avenue), but overall, nothing too spectacular. Can be a bit hard to find as it is off the Avenue a bit, check behind the Fifth Third drive up ATM and you can’t miss it.

My girlfiriend and I went here on Valentine’s Day, because it was, well, ganked from a Google map or something. When I got there, there were a few people at the bar about 20 years older than me chuckling at me as I got a $ 1.50 Yuengling. My girlfriend showed up. The happy hour continued. Fogarty’s has a touch-screen music thing, many TVs, pool and shuffleboard, Outside, they have a full deck with a grill built into a vintage car. We’d never been there, but I name dropped a bartender named Maggie and she showed us a second floor, which is closed but available if you ask. Full bar, stage. Bigger than my house, The beer prices were phenomenal. Ohio State won on some TV or such. We had a great time. It wasn’t busy, parked right in front. Great beer prices for happy hour, much fun

I frequent this bar whenever im in Cincinnati. Pretty cool spot if i do say so myself. Has an upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs i think usually has a DJ playing top 40 hits, while downstairs has an internet jukebox. Plenty of bar games to keep you and your friends occupied(pool, darts, shuffleboard, and a punching bag game.) There’s also a patio area in the back for smoking with chairs and tables. Although a little tight on space, its a great bar with all the essentials for a good time.

If youre not from the area, Fogartys is actually on Delmar off Harrison. This tip will save you many times circling the area. Nice bar, games, etc. Very friendly. Attended the Friday Night Band night. Great local bands. Food? Order pizza from NYPD Pizza up the street then delivered at the pub.

Think I’m going to go back to drink at this place as often as possible now. Awesome décor inside with the remodel and the addition of the sliders game to the darts and pool table. PBR on tap. Had a very easy time negotiating with the owner to handle our large group of friends when we were looking for a place to celebrate New Years. One of the best times we’ve ever had in Cheviot and it seems like everytime I go back things get even more interesting here.
