Horrible customer service. My girlfriend and I went to that store to buy boots. Waited over 20 minutes and no one greeted us or ask us if we needed help. Even though they where 3 sales people on the floor and only two customers. We get tired of waiting so we left and spend our money on boots in bloomingdale’s instead. I called their district manager just to inform her about the experience. She was sincere and she said the store manager will call me later on in the week to follow up with us. Got no call back.

I visited the Cole-Haan store just before a two-week trip to Europe this summer that included a lot of walking and climbing. They hooked me up with a great pair of leather kicks with Nike technology that were on sale for about $ 120(though I saw them 10 days later on Gilt Groupe for $ 65: doh!). In any case, I get compliments nearly every time I wear them, and they are extraordinarily comfortable. The staff at the store is great as well, helpful but not pushy. I have to say, although I’ll pay more for certain brands, I usually wait for a sale to poke my head in. The temptation is too great.

this store is laid out better than the Newbury St. location. It is brighter and the architecture is newer. The fixtures also feature the merchandise better than those at the other location. I am impressed by the consistency of the staff in the 2 locations, which you don’t find with a lot of companies. I received great service in the Chestnut Hill store as well, and was able to complete some of my holiday shopping with ease!
