«Customer service experience was great. The manager on duty stepped in when busy and offered us a deal we couldn’t refuse. We only intended to buy couch and a chair and with his guarantee if we were not satisfied and could return we ended up buying a couch, two chairs, and end table, and a buffet. We will be back for a bedroom set and a dining room piece soon. Highly recommend Bassett and the team in Chestnut Hill. wish I could have taken the managers name, he was terrific»

I worked with Janice. After spending at least a day at a place that sold Bassett Furniture but wasn’t Bassett, I decided to go direct to the source. At the other place they didn’t tell me anything about the product, seemed to suggest that I had to get a custom made sofa, and after at least 4 hours picking things out, came up with the price which was outrageous. Here that happened in about 3 minutes but when I seemed frustrated Janice explained to me that I didn’t have to get a custom made one, that if I just got the «regular» stocked sofa it would be much cheaper. Within about 5 minutes I had the items I wanted at a reasonable price. I am going to take off one star because I could not get a sense of what the couch would look like. I.e. real photos (as opposed to the simulation from the website) or any item in the store with that base fabric. Janice was very helpful and quick. When delivery day came they did a great job and were very careful.

They had in store swatches of the brand of paint and color that we have in our living room. And, in the end, we got exactly what we were looking for and we love the new furniture! It seems to be great quality, came exactly as ordered, and looks great in our home.»
