They returned my call to book a 1-​hr trail ride on a Saturday in November for 2 of us; per their site, the price is $ 38 per person:
. Plus, I had an email coupon for $ 5 off — sweet!
I was told the cost was $ 46 per person — what?! I quoted the website prices and said that they ought to update the prices on the website. The guy was pretty rude and said, «I don’t ‘gotta’ update my website. Those are summer prices». Nowhere on that page does it say ANYTHING about the rates being summer prices.
Needless to say, not going. Such a shame… I like to support small businesses in the Adks but felt like it was a «bait and switch».

Great experience! The guides were friendly and personable, especially Jackie. Learned a lot about riding. The trail was serene and picturesque! Would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic people, and really accomodating. I was 45 inutes late at the end of the day and they still took me and my girlfriend.
The guide was really wonderful, the horses were sweet, and the instructional video at the start is quite cute. really fun hour and a half.
I’d love to go back and the the picnic lunch special, which I wasn’t able to last time.

Vacationed in lake George and took my kids here for an hour ride. Been to many riding facilities so I know what is good and what is bad. This is a two star because the trails were a mess. Uneven, muddy, uncleared of tree debris. Flies everywhere due to horse feces not being picked up. The guide and the owner were very nice, but I won’t be back. Paid $ 45 for a private ride. Did not like the push for tipping the guide. Sign at the end of the ride encouraging tips was a little excessive.

Our family was staying in Lake George for the weekend & decided to go Trail Riding at Circle B one afternoon. I was kinda impressed with the employees & facility from the beginning… seemed to be a very knowledgeable & friendly place. Loved the video they made us watch prior to riding — helped ease some fears my niece had of the horse. The owner was there helping to match up horses w/​riders & did a great job getting us accustomed to our horse & making sure we knew it’s name & made that first ‘bond” together. But as soon as we left the corral, things started going downhill. Our trail guide, Andy, was rather cocky & didn’t seem to care too much about helping people out or putting them at ease. I was the only one in our group that had horseback riding experience & thought his assistance would have been nice. The entire ride — nothing but arrogance & snide comments came from the front of the pack. The trails were a MESS! Muddy, filled w/​large rocks & roots — extremely dangerous! I couldn’t believe they led trail rides through this path everyday, all day long! They seemed to have a nice area to ride w/​lots of woods… perhaps an alternative trail would be nice! The horses were slipping & tripping the entire hour ride, at one point a horse was down on 3 legs, but Andy never stopped… the other riders were asking if everything was okay, but Andy just kept on going. For having to pay $ 33 a person for a one hour ride… I wasn’t impressed. Maintain the trails a little better! Not only for the safety of the riders, but what about those poor horses that have to do that day in & day out, over & over again? Think about how they must feel! Oh, and then the real kicker was at the end of the trail on our way back to the barn they have a «funny» sign about making sure to tip your guide. Really? I just paid $ 33 to ride for an hour & I have to tip the trail guide that never gave a care in the world unless it revolved around him?! I just thought that was pretty tacky. I think the sign by the corral gate was enough about tips… why so many? Anyway, all in all — the majority of our group had a good time, but we were just disappointed in the trail & the trail guide most of all. I think alot more fun could have been had by all with just a little more effort put forth! We probably won’t go back in the future… there are other stables around that do the same thing, we’ll try them out first.
