Established in 1986.

We began in 1986 with the Ford franchise, and added Toyota in 1998. We were established by the Kerr family along with Stan Mize. Now fully owned by Bob and John Kerr, we look forward to serving the needs of the Chesterton and Valparaiso area, as well as surrounding areas like Portage, Michigan City and LaPorte.

Bob and his late father, John, started Lake Shore in 1986, and added the Toyota franchise in 1998. He lives here locally, and as a local businessman, values his local customers. Please come in and see us, and the entire Toyota (and Scion) product line.
