Established in 1990.

Began in 1990 in a storefront plaza off Long Road. Founded by Dr. Thornberry and Dr. Boillat. Now located in a free standing building off Edison Avenue.

Absolutely do not take your dog here! Every time I have taken my dog to this vet they have run all kinds of expensive unnecessary tests for things that could be diagnosed so easily by a competent vet. I had to take my dog twice in two days because he had in infection and they didn’t know where it was from just glanced in his ears then had to take him back again a second day for a ear infection after there was blood and wax sprayed all over my walls. But couldn’t take the time to look inside his ears on the first visit they would rather rack up the bill so it’s 350 dollars for a ear infection they thought reducing the visit bill 10 $ on the second day was compensation enough for it. Thanks for covering my gas bill! I will never use your business again. Also will be letting anyone with an animal to definitely not take their pet here.

I have only gone here for grooming, so that is all I can speak on. Laurie Dawson is an awesome groomer. She makes my baby look, feel and smell amazing!!! She sends me a report card after every visit which is soo cute regarding my baby’s behavior. She picks the cutest scarfs and bows. You receive a $ 5 discount whenever you groom within the 4 – 6 week time frame. Also my baby has been to play time once. My BF stayed and video taped the playtime, which she highly enjoyed. They do an excellent job grooming here, they treat your baby wonderfully amazing and know what they’re doing!!! She receives great hair cuts and cleaning.

Dr. Wayne Boillat was the best. They got us right in for a consultation for my little man to get neutered. He was a whole 2 lbs and Dr B made sure he was in little to no pain at all. Sampson was totally fine when we picked him up, despite vets in Amsterdam, Europe (my current location for work) telling me that they couldn’t do the surgery on such a young and tiny dog. Dr B said he has been handling dogs of all sizes for years and was not at all concerned about it. Sure enough, he was RIGHT, he did a great job. Sampson healed excellent. Drama free, no surprise fees, etc.
The receptionist was also super friendly. Not only were they easy to make an appt with, but the followup for me to fly back to Europe was great too. they got me in for his «5 minute» passport sign-​off that he was healthy to fly, and even didn’t charge me for a full exam. Now that’s good practice, that’s the old fashion docs I miss! Great place, definitely go here.
Sidenote– My mom has been taking her dog Misty here for about 9 years. Never a problem, also excellent service.

This practice seems to have someone who will be able to help, no matter what the issue is. I even brought a wounded wild duck to them a few years back and they had a veterinarian who also works at the World Bird Sanctuary. How cool is that?!
We have had two of our cats to this place and have always had good experiences. They sell the overpriced (not their fault) food that our cats need and they seem genuinely happy to see their customers.
