While I didn’t have the opportunity to actually meet Dr. Tepper, as a physician I understand the importance of ancillary staff. This review has two stars solely as a professional courtesy. Seeing that my wife and I are new to the area, the popularity of Drs. Tepper and Tepper had been mentioned to us by some of my colleagues. My wife was looking to have have a local female PCP and called the office. Unaware that there were two Dr. Teppers, my wife asked to make an appointment and the receptionist was determined to educate her on the matter. The receptionist replied when asked to make an appointment: «Which Tepper are you talking about, there are two.» My wife replies, apologizing for the confusion, asking if one of the physicians is a female. Receptionist: «Uh yeah, ones name is Hana and the other Arnold. I would think by the name you could tell if one is female.» My wife apologized again saying she only remembered the last name, and asked if she could make an appointment. The receptionist laughed informing her that it would be a few months before she could see a new patient.” My wife replied that was fine because she was only trying to establish as a new patient. When asked what time would work, my wife informed the receptionist that she worked until 4 pm. The staff member laughed again and said, «well looks like you’re going to have to look somewhere else, none of our physicians work past 3:30.» I do hate leaving a review without actually meeting the parties who bear the name, however, no care is worth this level of unprofessionalism. I do hope Drs. Tepper and Tepper read this so they are aware, and I pray the person working the desk today has limited contact with patients in the future.
