Nice newer outlet center in Chesterfield valley.
The place is clean and well-​maintained. Some good stores like J Crew and Boss. I also like the fact they have a gym here, Club Fitness, which is very good. I also liked the band playing on a Saturday afternoon… nice touch.
They do have some vacancies here and the place missed the mark to develop into a mixed-​use environment. Curious to know what this place will look like in 10 years, a la St Louis Mills, which is now dying.
For now though it’s not bad.

The layout is more like a shopping plaza with stores in two rows and a sidewalk sandwiched in the middle. Taubman also has a food court that contains a mix of fast casual restaurant chains just like a shopping plaza does.
Brands are already cheap but are usually further discounted. So what has been proclaimed, rather misleadingly, as a Taubman Prestige Outlet really isn’t an – well, it is an outlet, but for brands like Coach and American Eagle, Polo Ralph Lauren and H&M, Banana Republic and Gap. Shops are mostly household-​name brands, the poshest street-​wear or denim label is possibly, uh … I don’t know.
The Club Fitness gym is quite spacious.
Overall this place can delight locals as well as those who may travel here on the promise of a bargain.

My favorite place to shop. The Coach Outlet here is fantastic and the staff is so much friendlier than the Premium Coach. The Gap here is also much larger than the one at Premium. New additions here include Soma and Watch Station International. The H&M is the largest in St. Louis, and always has good deals!

If you plan to shop here when it’s cold, DONT!!! DONT!!! Because every store has their A/​C on when there is snow on the ground. This mall is the worst in the area don’t bother going there

Decent but definitely not an outlet worth racing to. Located in Chesterfield Valley, Taubman is not to be confused with St. Louis Premium Outlet also located in Chesterfield just a few miles west.
Although Taubman Outlet mall has plenty of high end name brand stores to choose from the quality of product is severely subpar. Some of the stores include J. Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, H&M, Bebe, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Restoration Hardware and more.
There is Nadoz Café for coffee drinkers and those who’d like to grab a bite aside from the food court options. Club Fitness had also found a new home in the Taubman complex with ²⁴⁄₇ access for members.
Honestly, what you can find here you can get at a local TJ Maxx or Marshalls store.

My favorite of the two outlets. Banana Republic, Coach, and now they added Lucky Jeans.
They are also dog friendly with water bowls out everywhere.

This place has the worst food options. The café sucks. You can walk into the food court and it’s empty, maybe they need more American food. This is America ain’t it

After visiting this outlet mall I bookmarked it on Unilocal because I wanted to make sure that I wrote a review of my happy experience. I was surprised that it was listed as only 3 stars. It really is a decent outlet mall. It is clean, spacious and has many brand name stores. I also loved that there was plenty of parking and it wasn’t excessively busy on a sunday! It is also dog friendly, which I’ve never seen in an outlet mall before!
I’ve read the other reviews about prices being not that great. I found them to be pretty decent. It varies by store. In general the items I will find at places like J Crew, Banana Republic or Brooks Brothers were cheaper here than I might find at the mall mainstream store. Does that mean everything was dirt cheap? No. But I didn’t expect it to be. They weren’t Ross or TJ Maxx prices, but the quality and organization of the stores wasn’t that low either. I was very satisfied and I believe most people familiar with these brands will be equally satisfied with the prices. It was cheaper than the main line of stores but I didn’t need to scrounge around or worry about production errors when finding an item I liked.
I really enjoyed the visit and plan on returning again soon… with my dog!

Love this place! Great to take your dogs to and you can even take them inside the stores (unlike the premium one which doesn’t allow dogs in the stores). The sweetest employees and totally amazing deals (I got a buy one get three free at pacsun). And it’s not overcrowded and there’s plenty of parking. Very happy with it!

JIP JIP JIP JIP JIP. These outlets are really pretty. parking was a breeze for a Saturday morning. I finally made my way out here, had no problem waiting for the hype to die down, and I am an avid online shopper so screw outlets. Anyway its very pretty, love that it has that outdoor mall feel, sooooo doggy friendly its ridiculous. I didn’t bring my baby here, but he would be barking his ass off so its ok. The stores are really not outlets… there is no special pricing here you cannot get at a mall… I’m used to outlets in New Jersey and you walk away feeling like you saved… you do not here. Also the taxes here are ridiculous. I’m not cheap. I am just a smart shopper. Thanks for the experience! Won’t be back :)

Very nice selection of outlet stores and they are VERY dog friendly, nearly every store had a bowl of water out and allowed the dogs in the stores. I wish more outlet malls would learn like this and be as pet friendly!

This outdoor mall is so dog-​friendly that they have water bowls everywhere you look! If my dog actually liked people, I would definitely take her here. Anyway, I just had to get that out of the way.
To the shopping experience: I actually prefer this outlet mall for the sales. It’s crazy how many stores are offering additional percentages off of their already clearance items! I generally make sure I visit the Bebe store, Banana Republic, the Gap, and the Abercrombie store for their additional 50% off clearance items. It’s absolutely great! I took my mom here today and I told her they may have some deals. She found a few items and was really happy with the prices!
One that note, I kind of wish Nike and Under Armour were here as well. Those are the only reasons why I usually make the trip down the road to the St Louis Outlets.

Place is going downhill fast despite being open less than 18 months. Tons of vacant stores and some of the new stores are downright hideous including a Rothmans Furniture, a used book store and American Family Insurance-​at a place claiming to be an upscale outlet mall! I came in the evening and the place was deserted, so much so that as a young male in my mid 20s I began to feel slightly uncomfortable at some of the other patrons loitering in the parking lot and around the complex. In sum, it’s not worth your time to come here and you will be disappointed. Guess my outlet shopping will have to happen when I return home to Massachusetts or visit Sawgrass Mills in Florida.

The selection here isn’t as great as St. Louis premium down the road. Fewer stores… but they do have Polo (plus), gap (so does the other one), j crew (expensive). Chesterfield mall would be a better choice.

Outdoor shopping in St. Louis is a chore even for a pro shopper like myself. Taubman Prestige makes the process more manageable. First off this mall has easy access right off the highway. Lanes are clearly marked for mall traffic. Plenty of parking.
If you are an animal lover this is the mall for you. This is a dog friendly mall. You will find water bowls everywhere. If I have to shop in the heat, it at least makes me smile to see a dog here and there.
This outlet mall wins hands down in the food department. Nadoz Café’ is here and it is worth a visit. If you work or attend a hokey game in the area, you need to stop into Nadoz. Fresh juice bar, real homemade foods, fresh grilled chicken, great burgers, amazing breakfast sandwiches, Italian Sodas, pastries, and cakes are just some of the offerings at Nadoz.
The Ralph Lauren Store, the new Coach store, and Restoration Hardware win my vote.

Had my very first visit to the outlets today. Initially I wasn’t sure about going, as I’ve heard many people say that there isn’t much going on there.
I liked that the mall itself had a lot of great stores, although many of them were not places that I normally go to. But i liked the variety and I liked that there were a lot of familiar names like Teavana, Lucky Brand, Gap, Famous Brand shoes, etc.
I did find that of the stores that I went to, some of them had reasonable prices. I really racked up in Love Culture. But some of the other stores had pretty high prices. I guess it could’ve been because they were higher end stores, but still — I thought that since they were outlet stores I’d save a bundle. Not quite.. .
Another thing that threw me off was that my presence wasn’t even acknowledged in a couple of stores. Normally I wouldn’t mind. But if I’m the only customer in the store, «hello» or «welcome to» would’ve been nice.
I’m not sure what was going on there with those folks.
Overall though, the mall itself was nice. It was clean and had lots of space. I also saw a few coming soon signs where additional stores will be. I’m really looking forward to seeing H&M out there.
I’d definitely shop there again to see what they have to offer. But I’m not so sure about visiting the «snooty» shops again.
I’d give them a rating of 2.5 stars. But since half stars aren’t an option, I’m rounding up to 3.

Refreshing shopping in the St. Louis area. Love that it is pet friendly and there are stickers on the front of each store that is pet friendly letting you know they are welcome. I can understand that some of them are not. Not all stores lend themselves to having pets in the store.
Like the setup and the stores. More food options would make it better. There are places with shelter from the rain and plenty of places to sit and rest.
Would like them to get some pet stores there.

Call me a contrarian, I suppose, because I much prefer Taubman Prestige Outlets to the St Louis Premium Outlets up the road.
I like that it’s smaller. I like that it has fewer stores. I like that it’s easy to find off the highway. And I really like the stores they have here.
The Banana Republic Factory Outlet is ridiculous. In a good way. Wacoal. Where have you been all my life? And Always Spring! My God. Can I move in? I know that no one needs a $ 300 glass menagerie of air plants, I just love it in there. A lot.
Their food options are limited (but are due to improve, if they haven’t already), but I could care less. There are plenty of dining options nearby. Who goes to an outlet mall to eat, anyway?
Taubman Prestige Outlets proves that sometimes bigger isn’t better.

torn on this review because I am not sure what’s happening at this mall. Did they open too soon? so many empty storefronts (I did see a couple «coming soon» signs), no food court. So I don’t want to jump to judgement too fast, but for now — we got through this mall in about 30 – 40 minutes — and the only reason it took that long is because of the yummy food truck that we tried (that’s another review). I bought a few items, but mostly because I felt bad for the employees who were standing around bored, or in the case of Hickory Farms — I was hungry and the cheese and pepperoni tray looked good!
I will say this — this is the most pet (dog) friendly mall I have ever been to. Dog statues, dog bowls, bags for poo — and every store I entered had a customer with a dog in their arm or leash. So, for you dog lovers out there — this place has potential — not to mention a really cute dog store.
I am rooting for this mall and will return to see their progress during my next visit to St. Louis.

If this is what you have been waiting for you must have low expectations. Labor day weekend and the place was a ghost town. There really isn’t any reason for us to visit it again until, I guess, the other 60−70% of vacant stored get filled.
About the only plus was that there were Food Trucks there and I got to try them.

The Taubman Outlets are just opened up this month and are less than 5 minutes from another outlet mall that will be opening up this month as well. I enjoyed the setting of the stores and the shaded sidewalks from one store to another.
They are «dog-​friendly» which is unique but I am unsure how I feel about it. While I was walking around, there was a dog peeing along the sidewalk??? I think its a good idea but it will be interesting to see everyones opinions on this.
Choice of stores is good as well. You have polo, ralph lauren, and brooks brothers that all seem to fall in the same cateory of style. There are still some empty stores there so I am hoping they will be adding some more affordable clothing stores for women.

I am a happy shopper, Taubman has brought me one of my favorite outlet stores to Saint Louis. Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store. I no longer have to do a road trip up to Tuscola, IL to shop at the Tangers Outlet Center. I now have one in the far west county of my hometown.
Other stores that I enjoyed were; Brooks Brothers, Collective, Uno 50, Banana Republic and Restoration Hardware. Then of course I loved the fact that they have a hometown favorite for dogs, Treats Unleashed. Since our dogs can shop with us, they need a store to shop as well.
Not having a food court did not bother me. There were plenty of vending machines to get a cold beverage. I’m there to shop, not to eat.
I’ll look forward to seeing more stores open as time goes by. Right now, I’ll be a regular shopping at the Polo Factory Store. Parking is easy, so I’ll be in and out in no time.

I’m not really sure what to think of Taubman yet. Given the proximity to my work, I think it’ll take a few more visits to make a solid decision. In the interim, here’s my initial review after visiting on opening weekend:
Parking is awkward — if you don’t get one of the prime spots, get ready to walk, because there’s a long parking lot that extends out to the side of the mall.
The dog-​friendly thing is weird — I love dogs as much as the next gal (probably more than then the next gal), but I don’t really understand why it’s necessary to bring them shopping with you. I just don’t see the point & can’t really see how it will end well. It’s a cute idea, just odd.
The food court was not open yet — why would they open the outlet mall and not have the food court open yet? I was not impressed by the 3 food trucks sitting outside.
The kids rides were a nice idea, but they require 3 quarters. And the conveniently located change machine was out of quarters, 30 minutes after they opened for the day. On opening weekend. I don’t know who was in charge of filling up that machine, but somebody lost some money there. And I gained a really cranky toddler, who really wanted to ride the damn choo-​choo.
Regarding the store selection — relatively impressive. J Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren. I bought a sweet pair of J Crew khakis for under $ 30, so I am giving this place an extra star for that. Restoration Hardware was ridiculous — the selection was pretty sparse — mostly just large pieces of furniture. We didn’t make it into the Ralph Lauren store because the line wrapped pretty much all the way around the store — as if they were giving away free puppies in there or something.
The whole time I was there, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the long departed Loehmann’s Plaza (for those that remember it). One can only hope that Taubman doesn’t share its fate. At any rate, the open air mall concept seems pretty silly to me. This is St. Louis, after all.

Pretty nice outlet mall for Saint Louis area. Osage Beach is still my favorite, but this has a nice mix of stuff for all types of shoppers. Also, they had to have like 10 food trucks out there too. I think this will be a normal occurrence.
Interestingly, they have a (MX) Collective, which is nice for the Chesterfield crowd, since I doubt they’d want to drive 20 miles to the downtown one. I really like that they have a unique store like the Collective here — they have nice home goods, jewelry, and clothes.
So the mix of stores: Furla, Gap, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, J Crew, Bedroom store, Restoration Hardware Outlet, AE, Johnston Murphy. Whether you’re looking for home goods, women’s or men’s, there’s plenty to look at.
It’s also a dog friendly mall, and they have bags to clean up after your dog, which is nice.
Parking was reasonable. Literally 1 mile before the Boone’s Crossing exit, the highway traffic halted and there was a solid line of slow traffic leading directly to the mall. Unexpectedly, within 10 minutes, I was parked and out of the car. There is plenty of parking, and I went the first weekend it opened, so I know it should be fine under normal circumstances.
In terms of deals: not really.
The Ralph Lauren store had a line to get in. A 20 minute line. And then, an hour wait to check out. I kid you not. Once again, I hope this won’t be the case normally. But, the bf found a polo and dress shirt normally over 100 for less than $ 60.
At the J Crew Factory store, there weren’t really any deals — I’ve found better deals at the Galleria Jcrew.
