History

Established in 1989.

The family owned interior design company, Contemporary Interiors, was founded in the early 1980’s by Dee Hencken. Seeing that there was a void in the window treatment business, the family began doing business as Express Blinds and Draperies, furnishing new homes all over Chesterfield with window treatments. Express Blinds has been serving greater St. Louis ever since!
