History

Established in 2011.

The restaurant concept was founded by Andy and DeeDee Kohn. They felt that a new concept centered around fine affordable wine, affordable food and a fun atmosphere was needed in St. Louis. They chose Chesterfield as the location because it is the gateway to the Missouri wine trail. The restaurant is a full service bonded winery providing barrel aging on site. Andy and DD are investors in Chandler Hill Vineyards in Defiance Missouri. Andy served for 4 years as their director of Wine.

Business Owner

Andy and Dee Dee Kohn are currently owners of EdgeWild. Andy previously was director of Wine for Chandler Hill Vineyards. He sourced their west coast wine during his involvement. He currently remains an investor and partner at that winery. Andy’s operating partner is Chris Larocca. Chris was former owner of crazy fish in Clayton has 30 plus years opening, owning and managing high quality restaurants like Kota Wood Fire Grill, Triumph Grill, Mile 277, Stadium Grill and several others to name a few. Chris has previously consulted with Chandler Hill Vineyards in the restaurant operations and is an owner of Crushed Red opening in spring of 2012.
