Dillard’s

Dillards, at least this location, can always be counted on for staple items (Hue Tights, etc) along with an excellent selection of end-​of-​season clearance merchandise. I am a fan of Dillard’s Antonio Melani line and ’boutique within a store’ concept. I came here for something specific yesterday and walked out with the unexpected bonus of scoring some cute winter accessories, including a knitted headband from Capelli New York for only $ 5. The shoe department here is not as comprehensive as the shoe-​wonderland that awaits at the St. Louis Galleria location, but it is good to have Dillards as an addition to the usual mall standards.

Return policy is terrible!!! Even with the receipt, the store manager deems a coat unreturnable because it had been worn once and had «lint» on it. Make sure you really want what you are purchasing. I’ll be shopping at Nordie in the future!

Have shopped Dillards in the past with no problem and satisfactory results.
However, when there is an issue, Dillards customer service is beyond horrible. Was not aware of the three day return policy on certain items which is problematic when one lives over an hour away. I did not see any signs on the policy when I chose the items from the rack nor was I informed at checkout. I had purchased the items as Christmas gifts. Therefore, the items would not be returned (if necessary) until well after the return window.
I had paid for the items with cash and was basically told that I had donated over $ 100 to the company as they did not know how to refund my money.
Also, there is no way to contact corporate offices of customer service for the stores.
Dillards carry good products. However, the company’s contempt for their customers once the customer has purchased the product is astounding.

The shoe department is my favorite place in the whole store. I just got two great pairs of shoes both of which were on sale. They always have a great shoe selection and always someone there to help.
