Found this hot spot today and just walked in no appointment was ever made. First time getting my manicure and brows done in this clean and spacious place. Atmosphere off the chain nice and relaxing. Customer service is very unique for a nail and spa shop, fresh fruit and water served in a glass made it off the chain. My experience with Henry(nail technician) was so awesome I went home and brought my husband back so we could both experience the pedicures together. Rebecca(nail technician) worked what I would call a miracle on his feet. He is diabetic and she gave him the Men’s sports mani/pedi and we would recommend this plus for anyone with diabetes or anyone who’s suffers with Chronic Kidney Disease afterward the treatment Rebecca gave him. If you are looking for awesome customer service, clean and relaxing spa place Creative Nails & Spa is the place to be.

I tried this place out because I missed my appointment with my regular tech due to the snow. I was pleasantly surprised by the setting. Brand new with great jazz music. The service was great and I was greeted with water and fresh fruit. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the tech was using a very very very thin layer of nail polish. It may seem petty but that’s enough for me to never go back. Especially since she rolled her eyes when I asked for a third coat. My polish won’t last longer than a week.

I went in to get my old nails taken off and perhaps get a manicure. When I asked how long the wait was going to be, I was told I could get started soaking right away. So she sat me down at a booth and went to, presumably, go get a technician. After waiting for 8 minutes, I asked the girl as she passed by if I could get started soaking. She went to go get someone, again, and then I waited a few more minutes. Then I heard two ladies come in and were taken to a back room. I saw a technician getting up from her seat, which nobody was at, and go to the back room. I waited a few more minutes, then asked the girl if I could really start getting my soak on. She told me that the technician just went to the back room to do a wax for a couple of ladies who had just walked in. The technician would do the wax first and then come out to take a look at my nails. Ladies, I waited 20 minutes after being told that I could get started right away just so a technician could«take a look at my nails». No ma’am, thank you Pam, I don’t need that. I will never be back, and that’s a darn shame because my work is just up the road and I get my nails done on a regular basis. I gave it a extra star since the receptionist was nice.

Decided to stop in on a whim for a mani when I noticed this place after shopping at Kroger. The place was huge with probably 20 plus mani stations. I was there on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. I walked in and was told to pick a color and be seated for a few minutes until a tech was ready. I was then moved to a station and after maybe 5 minutes was given a glass of water and grapes which was a nice touch. The seat was facing a TV which seemed to have a Shark vacuum infomercial on repeat that whole time without any sound. A tech came over and put her purse on a chair in front of me. Didn’t say«hi», didn’t even look at me. After about 20 minutes of sitting there without anyone acknowledging my presence and at least 5 people who were walking around the place seemingly with nothing to do, I decided to leave. I would have had no problem had someone just given me an updated. But, everyone seemed more concerned with going in the back of the place(lots of smoke breaks? who knows). Walked right out, no one even tried to stop me or seemed to care. I kind of feel lucky. Saved me 35 bucks on a mani(35 mani/55 pedi for reference which seems a bit steep given the area and lack of regard for customers). I’ll take my money and go to my regular City Day Spa & Nails instead where a mani is $ 12.

I just went into this nail salon today because it’s close to where I live. I’ve been seeing signs for all their services 30%. I found out that deal will be happening for the entire month of August since they just opened less then a week ago. Overall, fantastic experience. I will explain why I didn’t give five stars, but let’s talk about all the good things first. The place is BIG! It’s way bigger then a typical nail salon. They are brand new which makes everything so clean, so fresh, so nice! The atmosphere is good. They have relaxing jazz music playing, beautiful set up, TONS of space. So many chairs! So many areas to get your nails done! it was almost overwhelming how big it was. But I liked it. They will be able to handle big crowds on the weekends. When I walked in I was instantly greeted. Then again, coming in on a Tuesday afternoon is going to mean not a lot of business. Which is okay by me. They are new, and people really don’t know that they are there yet. That’s why I wanted to write a review for them. They are a friendly bunch of people. They spoke fantastic English which isn’t always the truth at nail salons. They instantly handed me their menu of options when I told them I wanted a pedicure. They have a ton of options when it comes to manicure/pedicures. They have all different kinds of spa pedicures. They have typical ones, as well as really interesting ones. There are 13 different kinds of mani/pedis you can get, and even a men’s one called the Men’s Sports Pedi/Mani. That’s really nice that they have options for everyone. I chose the deluxe pedicure. The original price of this is $ 55, but I only paid $ 39. This is one of the reasons why I didn’t give it five stars. I don’t actually think that it’s crazy over priced by any means, however for the area that they are in I am almost positive they will lose business over that pricing. Where I live it isn’t a rich area. These people are not made of money. This isn’t the West End or Short Pump, you know? Yeah I think we are up and coming, but we are not an upper middle class area. But, I do respect you get what you pay for. I am not sure if I could really afford it without the discount, but we shall see. Anyways, I had this guy named Jordan I believe. He was awesome! He was so sweet and caring. I felt very comfortable with him. Plus he was strong. That’s really important to me when getting my feet/legs massaged during pedicures. I could tell that he had great technique with his massages. Okay here’s the other reason they did not get four stars. When I left, I still had some of the leg mask and scrub on my legs. Now I know they just opened and they will probably get these kinks worked out, but I did feel sticky when I got home and had to rinse off. But overall I would go back here. It was a great place! I recommend it! My nails looks lovely. And Jordan made sure I liked my color choice which was nice. I know he would of done it again if I hadn’t liked it. Some other pros, they have massage chairs for pedicures, and they give you a plate of food! I had a glass(not a plastic cup) of water with orange and lime in it with a straw and ice, and then a plate of fruit a cookies! SOCUTE! Such class! I loved loved loved that. Go here! Especially while they have this awesome deal. I am thinking about finding out about their facials.
