CJ’s Mobile Deli

Owner seemed nice. Sandwiches had very little meat. All bread. a few vegetables. VERY DISAPPOINTING. the bennington location closed very quickly for this very reason. i gave him 1 chance and was dissatisfied.

Delicious meatball sandwich. CJ’s a friendly guy and seems to take genuine pride in his food.

I don’t like to review on Unilocal because I think it is full of idiots that have no clue.
I do need to speak up when i have a positive message. The food it great. I know because I return again and again for a fresh, tastefull, and filling meals.
If you are looking for something new and fresh outside of the boring chains I would say CJ’s is the place.

Bread is a little thick, and could you another layer or two of meat but his homemade roumalades are pretty good. And I don’t recall seeing a cheese selection, but I could have just overlooked it.

I have been living off Bennington road for more than a decade now and when I saw there was a deli opening right across the street from my place, I had to check it out. Subway is played out anyways if you eat it too much.
My sole decision to eat here was because I had a coupon, even if the place was to suck at least I would of not spent a lot of money.
Walking in to my surprise, it was nothing generic like I thought it would be like any other deli or Quiznos, pretty simple set up, nothing fancy, no pictures or promotions and even the menu was a printed out paper.
My first thoughts was I wasn’t going to be impressed. To toast the bread instead of using an oven, the worker, who happens to be the owner/​chef warmed the bread in a frying pan.
I ordered a Flucker on wheat which is roast beef, turkey, and chicken with sauerkraut and horseradish remoulade sauce.
After a couple of bites I had to admit the sandwich was dope! It was very well balance in taste and proportion and priced decently.
I ended up talking to the owner and he was saying how he is the only worker so he knows all the aspects of the menu to the building, from the sauces to the sandwiches because he created everything. He also said that sauces are made in house and they are what Cj’s deli is all about.
Propz to the owner and I hope he succeeds. I will be back and will recommend to other people. Anyone living in the apartment complexes around ⁷⁄₁₁ should check this deli sandwich joint out because caters to you.

What a pleasant surprise. A completely different spin on the deli scene. The owner studied in Paris and brings some awesome recipes that greatly enhance standard deli fare. Absolutely loved our meals and will return to try other offerings soon.

Cute little place. Opened in mid December 2014. Dropped in at noon in the middle of the week. Nice selection of both hot and cold sandwiches. I selected the hot Shaved Beef w/​peppers and onions. I selected the Garlic Dijon Remoulade. The sandwich was excellent. I added a nice sugar cookie to my purchase.
Their Remoulade Sauces and the Sweet and Spicy Pickles are made in house. Coupons and discounts are available. Ownership is friendly and customer service is great. I predict success for this place.
