The Locker Room

We love the Locker Room!!! The food and service is excellent! We always eat there and bring our friends when we are camping at Lake Almanor. Millard (owner) is a wonderful, fun, kind man. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss out on this wonderful experience!!!

Locker room is a fantastic place to eat food. It’s one of these great small town restaurants with delicious well priced food. If you are on your way to Lassen volcanic national park, I strongly suggest you go there. Miller and his family own the place. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They even have WiFi which is a boost in an area which has no cellular coverage.

I’ve been here so many times, each time trying something different. Every dish was delicious. The fish tacos tasted like something I’d get at home in San Diego. Same goes for the pizza and burgers. My little one is very picky and the staff was very accommodating. When I ordered a burger for my little one and forgot to ask without condiments they remade the order. This is always our first, second, even third stop when we come up for vacation.

The food here was phenomenal. On recommendation from the waiter Wesley we ordered the Boss chicken sandwich, and the locals favorite pizza. This was honestly one of the best meals I have had in quite a while, and the staff are extremely attentive and very nice. This restaurant puts a nice twist on traditional favorites, and gives huge portions. I will definitely be back with my family!

This place is absolutely one of the best treasures of Chester. If you live in Chester, this has to be your favorite place to eat and if you’re driving thru you have to make time to stop. The owner and employees are so kind, they make you feel right at home and the food is absolutely one of my top favorites. I live over 3 hours away and I’ll drive to Chester just to eat here.

The food here is so good it got me to move here!
I’ve been in the Chester area for about a month now, and I’ve eaten here several times. I can’t help but come back and try something else. Everything I’ve had so far has been absolutely wonderful. I love the Boss and torpedo sandwiches, they’re perfect.
The staff is all friendly and helpful and if the owner is around he’ll show you through the menu and let you know about the local favorites. Just ask your server what they would suggest and you can’t go wrong!

This place is cool. Burgers are nice and waitresses abs waiters are cool also. Out here for business and I recommend this spot to anybody driving through this town

Excellent food and prices. Comftorbal chairs. Love it. House special pizza rocks. Best food in town for sure. Great stop for the whole family.

While being in the area this Restaurant was a recommendation by our hotel. I can’t write more than that it was simply perfect. Great people, great beer and perfect food. If I’ll ever return to Chester, I’ll check in here!

My wife, two kids and myself are here for the first time last week. I had the volcano burger and my wife had the fish tacos. We both truly loved the experience. The atmosphere was great. Sports themed of course. Food was delicious. The service was excellent. The owner seem like a really nice guy. We are most definitely going to return here.
Had a slice of pizza which was pretty good. Best in Chester by far. You’d be missing out if you skip this place!

My co-​worker and I stopped off in Chester for lunch on Monday and oh my nelly… I had a memorable birthday feast.
Stop. Read. Practice. Game over. No need to go anywhere else. Ever.
Ambience was a bit used by the fans and players alike. Those seats are done broke in folks. A homey, kitschy sports theme is the décor for this sports food place. Foodie alert… do NOT drive past this joint!
Let the owner-​husband slide his chair up and coach you on the play book. Ok menu. But let me play a bit here. He was a folksy and fun guy who was so proud of recent menu changes and highlighted fan favorites while sliding some stats in on the best moves we could make with our grub selection.
My co-​worker and I decided to go for a sports trifecta with a Black-​n-​Blu burger, a Corn Flake Chicken Sandwich and some O-​Rings to bring it back to the home team! Well… home-​freakin’ run people!!!
Coach’s sweet wife hustled out with our food and our jaws hit the table when she set down our plates. Wifey waitress had a good laugh and said it is one of her favorite parts of her job to bring out that sandwich just to see the look on people’s faces. That chicken sandwich was something to behold. It was as big as William the Refrigerator Perry! And that Black-​n-​Blu burger? Ah-​mazing! It had bacon, blue cheese and some blackberry aoli goodness that was sinful. The burger’s flavor was smoky/​salty from the bacon and blue cheese balanced with a bit of sweet/​spicy with that blackberry heaven. Flag on the play already. are we really in Chester? Oh, and for the hat trick, in case you thought I forgot… the O-​Rings were deliciously sweet and crispy. Extra points right there.
Groaning in pleasure from our food-​bruised stomachs, sated from this surprisingly sublime meal, we rolled out of there already planning our return for a rematch. Thank you!!!

I really enjoyed stopping by the locker room! The food was delicious and after talking with the owners, it was clear that they were very passionate about this restaurant and all of the new menu items. This place has the casual laid back ambience of a sports bar without the frozen then fried sports bar food! The food was unbelievably fresh! The locally sourced fresh baked bread was very good! I had the BBQ Sundae which was a large beer mug filled to the brim with layers of beans, coleslaw, pulled pork, and BBQ sauce. I highly recommend it.

Great food! I had the black and blue burger with bacon added. It was tasty! My husband had the vegetarian pesto panini. He says it was delicious. Loved the chips. Would definitely sub for the chips next time. The owners were so nice! Would definitely come back next time we’re in town.

Ate hear more than a few times already. the food is good they serve beer and have games if to u have a family. or are just a big kid. there burgers, pizza and wings are good. that’s all I usually get. but it’s well worth it. and if you check in there on Unilocal they have a free cheesy bread coupon if you spend $ 20.small town so there’s not much to choose from but this place is good all around.

Snow day in Chester so we stopped in for lunch. I had the chicken Cesar salad and the wife had a hamburger and fries. We also got the cheesy bread for checking in. Salad was very good and the cheesy bread was excellent.
I took a bite of the wife’s hamburger and it was delicious. It had bacon, cheese and a onion ring all covered in bbq sauce. She almost didn’t get it back.
I hear they don’t serve the huge banana splits anymore however they have added a selection of tasty yogurt.

Small local restaurant that supports the local sports teams. Good food & service.

just stopped here for a few beers. Good service by Corin our server had the Ichiosaureus by Great Basin. Anyway nothing wrong with this place.

After four days on a motorcycle it was great to FINALLY get a really good meal. This place was right next to our hotel so we went here. ANYTIME I’m in the area from now on this will be my go to location. Good food and beer with great service.

Mixed review on this one. Food was good (pizza had yummy flavor, cheese wasn’t greasy, toppings were plentiful) but service was a little funky. Also, strangely for a sports bar, all the tvs were off.
They were understaffed — our waiter was also running the register, the drinks, bussing and processing the phone orders. They were out of all red wines and the kids meal milk.
Once our order was taken, food came quickly.

«First thank you so much for visiting my restaurant I appreciate the opportunity to have served you, but I think I have some explaining to do. On Tuesday night a big storm rolled through Chester and the transformer in front of our restaurant got hit by lighting, we lost all our power we lost our freezers and walk-​in and as you can imagine food we were force to close and we just reopened today the storm also knocked out the TV system so that’s why we did not have TVs or milk not sure about the wine though, please except my apologies and on your next visit I would be honored to by you a glass of wine»

Pretty cool spot. Great burgers! Got me a western bacon cheese burger with fried onion ring. It was so huge. I couldn’t finish it and had to take it home and the next day it will still super bomb! Place had comfy business chairs. Spacious. Lots of TV playing a variety of sport channels. Got free cheesy bread with Unilocal check in. Yum to the fried zucchini stick. Next time I’ll tried their froyo! Mmmmm
