Jen’s Mutt Hutt Too

We’ve taken our 65lb Pibble to Jen’s in Chester for years now. We have always been happy with the care our pooch receives, the timeliness of his service, and the value for services rendered. Never once have his nails been cut too deep, he received any sort of injuries or stresses from the experience, and he’s a giant cry-​baby. Would never hesitate to take him back for a bath, de-​stink, and nail clipping.

The ladies at Jens Mutt Hut Too are absolutely amazing! I brought 2 Great Pyrenees rescues I’m currently fostering to be groomed and they were in really rough shape to put it lightly. What they accomplished was nothing short of a miracle! Thank you so so much for your hard work and all the time you put into these boys! They really appreciate it

This is a great place to bring your dog for a grooming which we have been to a few times. The staff is terrific and really give you peace of mind that your dog will be well taken care of in your absence. The actual grooming itself looks terrific and our dog has always seemed quite happy and content when we have picked him up. The prices are reasonable and competitive with other groomers. I would highly recommend this place.

Great People! When you bring your dogs here, you can rest assured that they are in good hands. The staff is very professional and friendly. They are patient and take the time to make the dogs comfortable. We have followed Jen the owner of the Mutt Hut for 10 years. I have always had 2 standard poodles. When I moved her from NY I went thru hell finding a groomer who’d treat my animals properly. We love Jen and her groomers. If you have a time issue just let her know, and she will accommodate. My dogs hate grooming, but love Jen.

if i could give negative 1 for a rating i would. my puppy great pyrenees was taken for grooming at 1 pm and was not done until 8:45 pm. they will be reported to the bbb and aspca tomorrow am. this is animal cruelty to hold a pet that long just so they don’t lose a customer. well, they tried this with the wrong dog and family. never ever bring your pet there — it is a detriment to you pet. also noted: many, many red marks covering abdominal area which were not there before her appointment. a veterenarian is scheduled to examine her to determine what cause this situation and any undue pain to our pet. how awful. definitely do not use this groomer unless you want to subject your pet to pain and discomort. this was additionally upsetting for us since our pet is a recent rescue. hate is not sufficient enough to express our thoughts concerning this horrible place. dr. and mrs. kye e. dolbow mendham township, nj

Just let me begin by saying how much I appreciate Jen and the Mutt Hutt in Chester. They have treated my two standard poodles like their family. Jen, Kelly, Pat and Lila are a pleasure to work with. They do a fantastic job on my babies. My older one used to hate going to the groomer. Once I found Jens Mutt Hutt it all changed. He no longer shakes and tries to get away. He likes going and they do a beautiful job on him! He gets their undivided attention. I also brought my standard poodle puppy to Jenn’s day care. She got the socialization that she needed and she loved going! I am fortunate to have found them!

Although some of the groomers here are good, I recently had a bad experience with one of the groomers, the cut was uneven, the face and nose shaved to his pink skin– and the owner’s Mother who happens to be the manager at the Chester location. 3 or more times the alotted appts given, say 12:30, really is not an appt, they actually take in many dogs get your yours whenever, recently this past appt was 1:45, I did not pick up our dog until 7pm, this has happened 3 or more times; he had not eaten all day and when I gave him water outside the shop, he drank the entire bowl, he was definitely out of sorts, frantic.
When I expxressed my disappointment the manager just said OK Im sorry…
I will never return to this groomer, 6 hours for a grooming, are you kidding.
I called the owner and have not heard back from her…
