Visiting family for the weekend and stayed at Homewood Suites. Great location with easy access to I-95/I-85. Very quiet hotel with great staff. Room was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh.

As a member of the military, my unit and I have stayed at this hotel more times than I can count. This hotel, like most around it, gives us the military per diem rate of $ 83 a night. That is the amount we are reimbursed for travel. We travel monthly and are loyal Hilton users. We called in to block 5 rooms for this weekend and requested our usual military rate. The clerk confirm. When we arrived late last night, we came to find they locked us in at $ 113 a night each. The night clerk could not change it and it was suggested to speak to the GM the next morning to get it corrected. The clerk in the morning told us that the GM was out, but she would call her at 1000am and let us know if they could change the rate. She did call and informed us that the GM said there was nothing she could do. If you passed the hotel around 1200 today, you would have seen five Soldiers who had to leave training to come back and check out of their rooms due to the overcharge. We had each already lost $ 30 each a night out of our personal pockets and could not afford anymore. We called the Country Inn and Suites on the same road… they took us in at the normal military rate of $ 83 a night so we can stay and finish our training. If you are planning on staying here, I will verify it is a very nice hotel. The staff was we met with directly were all very nice, understanding, and somewhat perplexed that we were forced to leave due to the variance in the rates. As for us, we have decided to explore«life after Hilton». Hi Marriott, allow me to introduce us.

Nice, clean room, but not the usual two-room suite that most Homewood Suites have. The breakfasts and«dinners» were good, although it was difficult to get a table due to laptop campers. The fitness center was unsatisfactory. Both treadmills were in a state of disrepair, and there was no room for anything else. The soundproofing between the rooms is atrocious! I could hear every neighboring conversation and bathroom occurrence, but the worst was the couple above me in the throws of passion — PLEASE! Frankly, it was the staff(desk, housekeeping, and especially meal prep) that made this place«A-OK» versus«Meh. I’ve experienced better.»

We stayed here for a week before our house was ready. The room was clean, extremely quiet, and comfortable. The A/C was cold. Everyone was very nice. There was a breakfast buffet that was different daily. There was also dinner served during the week. A menu was posted in every room. It was great not having to go out to dinner with a hefty price tag every night. The kids enjoyed the pool. The parking was well lit but hidden from the road. We were expecting the military rate but because of the length of our stay, they lowered the rate even more. Service was wonderful! When we move out, we will be staying here again.

In Chester overnight on a business trip. I’ve stayed at Homewood Suites in other locations and have always had a good experience. No different here, easy check in, friendly staff, even the Sales Director greeted me and thanked me for staying, they sure make you feel welcome here. A really nice room with a well equipped kitchen and a nice room setting area. Very nice room with a great bathroom and all very clean! The room includes a complimentray dinner, breakfast and wi-fi. Also a great location just off the I-95.
