Up to the Lake for an annual family reunion .
As always something needs to be fixed.
We had trouble with an antique plumbing fixture and I went into Chester fully prepared to spend a bunch of $ to jury rig something as I had no hope of finding a direct replacement.
As soon as I showed the clerk the fitting she got a big smile on her face and said «I’ll be right back.»
She reappeared about five minutes later with the exact part!
Her statement to me was «I thought I would never sell that thing.»
Best part was it was $ 9.95, I bet I would have paid twice that in Chico ‚
if I could find the exact part.
