Meet the Business Owner

David D.

Business Owner

Dr. David Daniels was born in New York City but raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated cum laude with Honors in American History and set two career records as a pitcher on the baseball team. He continued his baseball career into the professional ranks, pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and St. Louis Cardinals organizations for six seasons. As a hard-​throwing «sidearm» reliever, he was often called upon to «save» games for his teams. When right elbow surgery ended one career however, he returned to school to begin another as a dentist.

Dr. Daniels earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, then received his orthodontic specialty training at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. Balancing his clinical training with a Masters of Science, he conducted original research on the effects of a non-​compliance-​based alternative to «headgears.»
