Great wings and fries. Bread is horrible but looks good. I think the staff needs more customer service training and maybe a recording for the phone saying thank you for calling wing stop we’ll be right with you. Sometimes the phone just keeps ringing and no one answers. Overall great food.

I had a much better experience with them. This is a made to order kind of restaurant. So if you want to eat here or order from here thru online/phone, please expect to wait. The prices for foods are pretty reasonable also. Thumbs up for the customer service.

My 1st time here, went with my sister after alot of window shopping. Lol. I really Wanted to see the hype about their wings. The place is located in a shopping center off of volvo parkway and across from TGIFs. As you walk in you have a big dining area, tables and high top tables and to your right there is the ordering counter. We ordered a ½ Dozen butter rolls(omg, yummmm). My sister and I ordered the 12 piece wing combo to share(you pick 2 different types of flavors, out of the 11 flavors they offer) We ordered the Lemon Pepper & Hawaiian wings. My favorite are the LEMONPEPPERWINGS(similar to a dry rub, not saucy), the Hawaiian wins were pretty good too, it had a lil tang to it, it also includes a basket of fries(seasoned or orig) you get hella alot of fries, and a refillable 20oz fountain drink for such a great deal! The things about these wings, they are only cooked when ordered, not just laying around underneath a warmer to stay warm. They are Hot and fresh! Customer service is friendly, food was great, I will definitely come back again! Thank you Wingstop for opening up in Chesapeake!

I’ve been to this location twice. I will give them a 3 star rating because I was not very pleased with the service but the food was good. I ordered several flavors of wings including lemon pepper, honey bbq, mild and a few others. All together my family & I ordered about 20 to 24 wings. And a side of rolls of course. They had 9:10 ratio of very young staff and when I say young I say between 16 – 19 year olds working. I waited about 45 mins for my order to come up. They we’re very confused and unorganized. It was steady but It was not very busy at that time so I don’t know why the confusion level was high. When I did finally receive my food everything was there and it was very delicious. The second time I went I was much more satisfied. I did go about 9:30 at night when business was a little less busy, yes there was still a very young staff over all. Not to mention some of the people that work there you will never know because some of them are wiping tables and refilling napkins etc. with street clothes on. I do recommend ordering online for pick –up. Especially if you’re on lunch break and limited with your time. This place is definitely 5 stars taste wise !

Loved it. It’s my first time here. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. The fries here are bombdotcom. Seasoned very good. I had the lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. Not to garlicky! I’d definitely come back here.

My friend from the West Coast was super excited to come to this place since it was everything he dreamed of back in Cali. We planned to go for sometime and we finally got to go last night. The person who took our order was helpful. My friend and I ordered 20 pieces each(don’t judge us lol) and fries. My 20 pieces were boneless. I got the cajun seasoning for the fries on the side, because my friend is overly picky. So as we waited, I noticed everyone who was already sitting looked irate, these people had been sitting there since I had walked in and since it took us 20 minutes to get our wings.(That was no exaggeration, I counted it.) I couldn’t help but wonder how long they had been sitting there. I can be pretty patient when it comes to receiving my food. But this was ridiculous and I was getting hangry! We finally got our food, his three sauces were Mango habanero, Garlic Parmsean, and Buffalo. Mine were the same, except trade out Buffalo for Lemon Pepper. Oh and remember I said, I ordered boneless, guess what!!! I got traditional! At this point, I walked back to the order taker and mentioned how I waited this long and didn’t even get what I ordered. They took back my wings and one lady complained to the worker who made my order about it. My hanger rose to level infinity and I yelled«At this point, just give me the messed up order, I can’t wait again for the wings to take forever»… They asked if I was sure… I just took back the wings. I think I heard a sorry but that’s the best I could’ve got? The wings were ok, not something spectacular enough to have waited THAT long for. The Lemon Pepper was great though. I remember asking my friend if he smelled cigarettes and he was agreed. So I guess a worker left the door open when they went out for the smoke break? Not something I care for when I’m trying to enjoy the wings I didn’t order. The place was clean, I will say that. And after eating, I wasn’t sure what to do with the tray. So I left my stuff on the table? I guess next time, I’ll go to Wing King or B-Dubs. This place needs to tighten up their staff. It’s wings man.

Pretty good wings! I like I can mix and match my order to try as much flavors as possible. It’s cooked to order so, it’s fresh. The hickory smoked, lemon pepper, Louisiana rub was all good. The wings wasn’t greasy and it was flavorful. Staff was friendly, they explained the menu board. Glad to have another wing spot!

First time here, I ordered the Louisiana rub & garlic parm bone-in wings w/fries and ranch dressing. First I feel like the menu is very limited not many options other than wings and dipping sauce but hey the name of the place is «Wingstop» so I guess I can’t complain. Second. it just took too dang long. There were about 5 ppl in here yet I had to wait nearly an half hour for 8 wings. The wings were not bad at all and tastes much better when dipped in the ranch. The fries tho? They were soggy and border line raw.

Simply the best wings on the Southside. Wing Stop blows-away the dated competition such as Buffalo Wild Wing and Wild Wing Café. For you Fireheads, they have the«Atomic»(I know – cliché) wing that shall satisfy even the most ardent chile head. I dig the habanero, and there’s plenty more to choose from. I say give them a try. Recommended for takeout, but they have tables, too. Hint: call in your order, or better yet download the Wingstop App for sweet walk in and get ‘em fast service.

Since my original review, this place turned around for the better. Online order is ready for pickup at the time indicated, food continues to impress with great tasting flavors, and customer service improved with more professional employees. Louisiana rub definitely has good spicyness to it and the quality of wings always has great crispiness and flavor. Inside the establishment is kept clean and very spacious with two tvs and nice décor. This place is my favorite wing place now and I probably won’t go to BWW or Wild Wings anymore if this keeps up. Looking forward to tasting all their flavors!

I’ve been to this location a few times already. I really enjoy the mild boneless wings. It’s really easy and convenient to order on their app. I would give five stars if the pickup was quicker. Most times I have to wait with everyone else who is just ordering when I’ve already prepaid with my credit card. I would recommend they get a second pick up line. If they fix this issue I would edit my star rating. Food is still great though!

I remember always seeing the Wingstop commercials on T.V. when I was younger and I’d get upset when I learned that there were none in the Hampton Roads area, so when I saw that they finally built one in the area my face lit up and I immediately called my friend up(who loves chicken wings) so we could try it out. This place was very busy to say the least. We were helped by Lydia who was really sweet; however, there were a couple of things that didn’t sit right with me. When I was getting my order rung up, she was manning the phone and taking my order on the register at the same time so I had to keep stopping in mid order while placing it. She apologized and then told her coworkers that someone else should man the phones while she was ringing up on the register, and I wholeheartedly agree. It looked like there were plenty of other people working who could helped out. After my friend placed his order we were told that it would take 25 – 30 minutes for our food to be ready, which wasn’t a big deal cause I really wanted to try these wings endorsed heavily by Rock Ross. *Uh* Haha My friends food came out first after about 10 mintues, but there was a 10 minute gap until I got my food, but I ordered mines first. Maybe what he got was easier to make though. Nonetheless, the wings were pretty tasty and I was a fan of the seasoning on the french fries. The quality of the wings actually trump BWW by a longshot. Some other things to note is that the soda fountain was broken and there was no top over the iced tea dispenser. These are not things I expect from a newly open resturant. Overall, the product was good, but some changes in time management, maintenance, and the divison of responsibilities of crew members should be made.

Wingstop is my favorite wing place! I was so happy to see there was finally one in the Hampton Roads area after visiting the Sterling location numerous times. Sad to say, this location was quite disappointing. I went in to order carry-out for my family and I. I ordered the 30 wing family pack which came with large fries, veggie sticks, and sauce(ranch, bleu cheese, etc). The cashier told me the wait would be about 20 minutes … I waited for 45 minutes until I got my food. When I got home and began unpacking the bag, I realized they forgot the ranch. It wasn’t a big deal so I just blew it off. I then realized there was only 5 veggie sticks in the package? Alas, the wings were not up to par. I ordered lemon pepper, Louisiana rub, and mild flavors for the wings. Louisiana rub is by far my favorite and but the dry rubs were BARELY coated on the wings so I didn’t get to taste it much. The size of the wings were smaller than what I was used to in Sterling as well. I do recommend the regular seasoning on their fries! It has sugar which is different but so addicting! The restaurant itself was pretty big and has plenty of seating. Customer service was average, nothing special. I will give this location another shot and write another review in hopes of it being a more positive experience. I love Wingstop so this was really crummy to write.

This is a pretty big Wingstop and honestly probably the only Wingstop here. Anyway, service was meh. One of the girls asked us if we were finished when we still had ALL of our food on the tray. I kind of just looked @ her puzzled. Huge turnoff for service, haha. I’ll probably only be coming back to satisfy my wing craving.

Ordered from the Wingstop on Volvo this afternoon. I ordered online and then sent my Daughter to pick them up. I ordered 20 wings, 10 boneless(Mango Habanero) and 10 bone-in(Hot) with fries. My daughter got home and said that it was mass confusion inside the store. She said they got at least 4 orders wrong while she was there. She got home and they got our order wrong as well. She did not get boneless wings, they were bone-in, and if I got hot, and the next level of hot is Atomic, the hot is not hot at all. Oh, and the fries were stone cold too! There are a couple of other places in the area that do wings better, so I doubt I will try them again. Big Woody’s is head and shoulders better in my opinion.

Wingstop franchise owner Rick Ross, definitely put Lemon Pepper wings on the map! Edguardo works the front register and he was knowledgable and patient during my first time ordering. My food took a little longer than anticipated, but you can’t beat the combo price for what it’s worth. The Lemon Pepper rub is a good balance of zest and spice! The Spicy Korean could use an extra kick but it was fairly decent. The seasoned steak fries are amazing and you get a hefty portion. Be prepared to wait a long time to order and for your meal to come out. Overall, a solid place for wings. Combo includes x number of wings + sauce + side of fries + drink. I look forward to trying out the other seasonings for their fries!

I have given this place 2 tries. The first time I placed my order online. When I arrived at the restaurant I found out that you still have to wait in line behind everyone placing orders in store. This annoyed me but wasn’t so bad because there were only a few people in line. However, the registers were down. After standing there for awhile I asked if I could just leave cash and they wouldn’t let me. I ordered lemon pepper wings, hot buffalo wings, and fries. When I got home the fries were still warm and delish! The wings on the other hand were just OK. They really didn’t have much flavor. The fries were my FAV! I actually went back the next night for fries. However, it was a Friday night so that was a BIG mistake! I was really just craving the fries again but went ahead and ordered wings too since the line was so long. I waited in line for about 20 min and then from the time I placed my order and received it, that was another 50 min!(I didn’t bother ordering ahead b/c I felt it was pointless if I have to wait in line still.) This time I tried the garlic parmesan wings and lemon pepper again. The lemon pepper was worse b/c there was like no seasoning. The garlic parmesan was HORRIBLE! No garlic at all, it tasted and looked like they just sprinkled Kraft parmesan cheese on it. The biggest disappointment were the fries, they were cold and sticking together, gross. They need a better system for online orders. You order online and then your food sits there getting cold while you wait in line to just pick up your order. I don’t know what to say about the wings, the seasoning just isn’t good to me. I will definitely be back for the fries but will make sure they are fresh before leaving the store. I will give the wings one more try!

Wings Stop is where to Stop at for Wings This was my first time coming here, came here with my cousin. Such a friendly atmosphere with such kind workers. I was one of them customers that’s didn’t know what to get so I asked for suggestions, and sure enough the kind gentleman was nice enough to suggest what to get. Since I’m not into spicy food he suggested the mild, lemon pepper and the garlic parmesan. I ordered the 6 wings with two flavors of my choice, one dip and a drink for only $ 7.99. Not bad! The wings were perfect not overly breaded and the sauce was perfectly drenched over my wings, just the way like it. Not dry and more meat to bite into. I had the mild and Lemon pepper chicken. It was my first time trying the lemon pepper chicken, and got to say it was finger licking delicious. The fries were oh my delish and my favorite, it was seasoned so well. I dipped mine into honey mustard sauce they gave me as my dip option. This place always had a line every time I pass by it but didn’t stop me to try their awesome wings. When we were finally in store, the line moved super quick. They made it to order within a good 25 minutes which wasn’t too bad of a wait I guess. Super clean with plenty of seating to enjoy them wings. The only Con I could think of is that they ran out of the rolls that my cousin and I wanted to try out, but next time I hope they’ll have some to try.

I’ve been to a few wing stops & this is by far the best one in my book. The boneless wings aren’t over breaded like BWW’s and they’re generous with the sauce. This place always has a line every time I go but it moves super quick. They make it to order with a 20 minute turn around time that’s pretty quick.. The other wing stop I frequently went to in Northern Va had a wait time of 45 minutes. Super clean with plenty of seating. If it’s packed when you come just wait a few minutes and a table will open up.
