Wendy’s

Lunch time rush as usual but they only have 1 register. Not 1 available. ONLY 1 in the store. Lines to. the door. Drive through crushed. While waiting patiently saw a lady come up and show manager that they made her burger with a rock inside. Yep, a real rock. Their solution, take 2 different burgers on us. I left at that point. Not going back.

Ok, where to even begin? Bacon cheese fries… Don’t waste your money! Nothing but nacho cheese spread melted on the fries, and a few tiny pieces of bacon tossed on, stone cold at that!
My friend ordered the so-​called Baconator… Two minuscule pieces of bacon and two dry meat patties. When he took it back and asked for one like in the photos at the restaurant, they looked at him like he was crazy!
The two singles were hot, but dry as Interstate 64 in JULY. Overall, a complete waste of $ 25. Hot n’ juicy it ain’t!
And to add insult to injury, they don’t even have a Coke Freestyle machine! So much for getting my Cherry Coke!
Avoid at all costs, you can get s better burger at McDonalds!

This Wendy’s is damn good. If it takes a while to get your food it is because the food is freshly made and always piping hot when you get it.
They have yet to forget my sauce so they get an A in my book.

This Wendy’s is right by my house, so we hit the drive through frequently due to baseball practice, scout meetings, etc. The dining room is clean and the employees are friendly. The drive through gets backed up sometimes, but the line moves pretty quickly. I usually just park and walk inside when it’s like that and there is no line at the counter. They have never messed up my order. (Knock on wood.)

Not the cleanest Wendy’s„ spectacularly messed up once but the management was quick to fix the issue.

Believe it or not, I do not have a hard on for Wendy’s (although I bet their local offices think that I do…). Frankly, their smashed flat and cooked thru from the bottom burgers are not what I look for, I am, however, in love with their chili (and the salad that they use it in). I keep going back. Despite my non-​existent expectations.
Having said that, if I am making the choice, I never choose to go to Wendy’s. But, since I was out with a friend, we ended up going here to eat. About 13:30 in the afternoon — well after their lunch rush.
My Baja Salad (I presumed the renaming of their old Taco Salad) was excellent. Salad greens were crisp. The chili was meaty and hot. I cannot complain about my meal (itself).
However. The dining area was filthy. Not a single clean table to be found. Not a single one. Spilt drinks, grease and condiment stains. Balled up and discarded napkins and the like everywhere. And multiple flies dive bombing our trays.
Come on guys. I keep giving our local Wendy’s 3^rd and 4^th chances, and they keep screwing it up.
Like I have said before, chili is the only thing that I have any interest in, from Wendy’s. But, eating that, in a filthy dining area, kinda takes the enjoyment right out of it.
Wish I had been the one making the meal choice. I’d have driven 4 blocks down Battlefield to 5 Guys were I would have gotten a quality meal, in a clean dining room, with out the fly’s trying to attack my meal.

Not recommended at all. Go to 5 Guys.
