Walgreens

This is a pretty decent pharmacy. The staff is always warm and friendly and operates in an efficient manor. I appreciate that the pharmacist it’s always willing to take time to answer your questions. Prescriptions are almost always ready when they say they will be. When they aren’t it’s usually because they require renewals and the prescribing physician is slow to respond. I enjoy using their Android app to refill prescriptions or check my prescription history.
The store itself is open 24 hours however the pharmacy department is not, it’s open from 7AM to midnight daily. They have a photo shop inside the store that is also open 24 hours.
I won’t dwell on the rest of what the store offers because most everyone is familiar with modern pharmacy store chains. Suffice it to say they have the usual selection of health and beauty products plus household goods, children’s toys. some small consumer electronics, basic office supplies, pet supplies, etc… They also have a selection of basic groceries items. There are no fresh meats or produce but plenty of frozen items, bread, milk, lots of candy and snacks. Walgreens offers a rewards card that gets you some money back, this can really add up some savings if you regularly fill prescriptions here. There is also a weekly add featuring promotional items and coupons.
Parking is more than adequate in their private lot and the store is always clean and well-​organized.

I’ve never received as much awesome customer service and interaction from a pharmacy/​convenience store as I have here. I was greeted as usual on Friday, January 9. I was there to pick up some laundry detergent and ended up getting sucked into the Walgreens trap as usual… I walked out with a lot more. During my time browsing, I was checked on twice by Samantha to see if I was doing alright. I have never been checked on or interacted with while shopping at any other Walgreens, Rite aid, CVS, etc., other than at check out or at the pharmacy. As I said before I walked out with a lot more than expected. Samantha even brought me a basket and checked in the back to see if they had something I asked for. I was so pleased with my experience that I asked to talk to the manager to give Samantha a compliment. Curtis, the manager, came out and was so nice and appreciative. At check out, the guy at the register (forgot to get his name) was very nice as well, we chatted a bit and I was on my way a very pleased customer. I recommend this Walgreens to anyone.

Friendly staff in the pharmacy. The waits can be a bit long during the busy hours of 4 – 6. Still the efficiency of the store makes up for it.
