This place, Tanko Japan. Is utterly a completely a great place to eat. It has a «take-​out» atmosphere, yet booths and tables just incase you want to watch some TV and have some great sushi or grille. I eat here about twice a week. Great prices also. Recommend it to anyone new or experienced in the sushi business.

Since one of my favorite Chinese takeout places closed on Sunday mornings, I opted to try this Japanese takeout place for brunch. I ordered the hibachi steak off the lunch special menu. It tastes just like the hibachi food you’d get from the fancy-​shmancy places but for less than half the price. The serving size was large enough for my sister and I to split one order. I think I may have found my new favorite take-​out restaurant!

It’s a good change up when you’re sick of Chinese food. The hibachi to go was okay, the rice is really really oily but everything else is good.
It’s set up like most Chinese restaurants… but it’s weird. They have sushi and we ordered the volcano roll. The roll is the same price as the hibachi but a tiny portion and 10 times more DISGUSTING. I love sushi and maybe I should have known better ordering it. But I was very disappointed. It was fried, whatever was inside was old tasting. The fried outside was rubbery! Yes! Rubbery! Like it was fried two days ago and then fried again!
Booooo!!! Shame on you, Tenko!

We went here for the first time today because of a craving. Being 9 months pregnant, I let my belly lead the way. The restaurant was very clean. The tables were shiny and the floors were spotless (aside from the area under my daughter’s feet). The cashier helped us pick out our food since it was our first time. The food definitely is made fresh to order, as previous reviewers mentioned. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were large. I couldn’t eat half of my meal before getting full. Alas, it could be just another side-​effect of pregnancy. But that’s what husband’s are for.

Good quick Japanese take out. Chicken soba is good and their sushi is average to good. Can’t go wrong for a quick quality bite. Portion sizes are good too. Owners are very nice! Recommended.

One of our staple take-​out restaurants!
Good portions, good quality, good taste, consistency, fast service.
I Highly recommend the scallops, but if they’re not your thing you can’t go wrong with anything else!
Better sushi can be had elsewhere but if you’re only going to get a roll or two with your meal it’s not bad.
This is a restaurant with tables and everything, but it’s got a take-​out atmosphere and most customers come here for just that.
I highly enjoy hibachi, and sushi, and my wife prefers Japanese style Asian cuisine over all others Asian faires. We were quite pleased when we learned this place had opened up only a couple miles from our house.

Went here with my husband for the first time, place is very casual, clean kinda like a take out place. Ordered the yummy roll it was really good! And also ordered the yunmy chicken hibachi it was fresh and service was fast! Will definitely come back!

Tasty fast Japanese food. You don’t have to wait forever which is good. They do have a limited sushi menu, but it is usually pretty good. Make sure to get extra sauce.
