Priority Toyota Chesapeake

I don’t where to begin. It took over two hours for an oil change despite asking how long when checking in & told 1 – 1.5 hours. The staff isn’t very friendly. Also, getting a call back is extremely difficult. It is chaos when you check in or out. The kids room has a tv but otherwise is pretty bare. They do offer other services like a salon, shoe shining, manicures (only on Wed), but most were closed on a Tues afternoon. Once our Toyota care runs out I won’t be back.

Tell you what now! I was in a pickle had no idea how I was going to make my car payments so I thought I’d walk in and explain to the dealership my situation. And you know what happen? Let me tell y’all. They refinanced my car got me out my pickle and was able to make payments.
Shoutout to Danny Erazo and Angel Erazo these guys made me sure I would be ok.

I came here for my 5000mi Toyota Care maintenance, and have to say it was a good experience. Despite not buying my vehicle from this dealership, I was treated respectfully and everyone from customer service to the technicians were quite professional. This dealership also provides a convenient waiting room with complimentary tea/​coffee. Overall, pleasant and hassle-​free experience.

I dropped my car to get repaired, and when I went and picked my car I notice that it was missing the aftermarket roof rack. When I ask where was my roof rack they had no clue. I took the representative to the car and then he says to me,“I guess somebody stole it.” So they asked me to call the police for a police report. The roof on the passenger side had multiple dents and scratches where they forced roof rack off, I told the representative that I wasn’t going to pick up my vehicle until they fixed it and he said that they wouldn’t fix it because «it was too much» «it would be too expensive». I gave them the opportunity to at least bring the manager and talk to me on their own but they didn’t, the car was in their property and the only thing that representative did was just apologize and said call the police and make your insurance pay for it.
This was probably the worst way of handling a paying customers complaint. I trusted my vehicle to be repaired at Priority Toyota, instead I had a great deal of damage that they would not take responsibility for. Their solution was to have my insurance company pay for it with no regard to what I have to pay out of pocket for my deductible.
The WORST experience!

Came in for an oil change (free, perk for buying car here), they discovered I had not gotten any of the recalls taken care of. They said it would take a total of 1.5 hours to repair. Well it has been over three hours and I’m still sitting here. They have a lot amenities which are very nice however there are no sleep pods. Sleep pods would be awesome instead of watching a marathon of property brothers.

Military stationed in Italy with my Tundra. Brought it to Priority to have a full service including a timing belt and water pump. The next year I took it in for an oil change and state inspection. Russell called and said the mechanic looked and I need a new timing belt and water pump. I told him the Tundra is my back up vehicle and I’ve only driven it 5k miles so if those parts are needed then Toyota is liable. He asked to call me back. 15 mins later he calls and says the computers were down so he didn’t see I had the work done a year ago. (First time he said the mechanic said so)!!!
Before that, I bought a used 2007 Sequoia. Had a foul smell and the sales rep sprayed air freshener to cover it up. We found the back carpet wet. The back hatch leaks. Over the next few years we asked greeter and Miranda to take a look. They say they couldn’t repeat the issue they had never heard of the back hatch leaking (common knowledge for this model) but if we had bought the extended warranty they could replace the parts to fix it. I get in my SUV and the back is still torn apart. They didn’t even bother to put it back together.
7 tours of duty in Afghanistan and this is the society I defend?

To your comment about PM’ing you and talking to the service manager — I spoke with him during the issue with my Tundra and do not feel he is trust worthy. I caught them in a flat out LIE… my repairs should have been free to restore my trust.
For the Sequoia, I fixed the problem myself this weekend. It was NOT the recommendation Miranda suggested.
The world is founded on Trust and Faith. Priority Toyota has lost mine. Look for me on social media as I ensure other customers are empowered with the knowledge of Priority Toyota Service so they do not make the same mistakes I have.

This place will take advantage of trusting car owners who expect to be treated like a «Priority». The service people must work on commission because they will do everything in their power to convince you to get services done before they are necessary. I work hard for my money and I am not an idiot when it comes to cars. I made an apppintment for specific services. I waited for 4 hours for routine oil/​filter change, tire rotation, and a minor repair. The associate told me they started on time. Fours hours is unacceptable for the services I received. I am a very laid back and even tempered person, but I left feeling like they made me wait just because I didn’t agree to all of their suggested services which totaled $ 1000.

Had a bad experience on my 5k service a month ago, waited over an hour for a tire rotation and none of my fluids were filled. I came home and realized that the windshield washer fluid was completely empty. I posted a review and the customer relations lady contacted me directly and offered me to come in any day of the week to fill my fluids and a full tank of gas at no charge.
Was around the area and remembered that Priority Toyota owed me a tank of gas for an issue from the previous 5k visit. I’m impressed, I was first priority and they took care of my 4Runner in a few mins. I’m glad that they will find ways to make it up to a unsatisfied customer. Free full tank of gas, I can’t complain. Customer satisfaction is.

This place is really the best. I have bought my cars here for over 10 years. They treat you with respect and give you the best pricing in the tidewater area. We shop them against their competitors and they not only beat the prices but truly offer better customer service. My wife loves the manicures they provide. I like the café. But seriously, I can’t find a dealer with more selection and better pricing. They’re fair, upfront, honest, and treat you with respect. I’m not sure what else you could want when shopping for a car. And to top it off we take advantage of the «priorities for life.»

1^st time I was here, great service, quick, polite. Second time, quick but rude, third time, it took hours and they were all extremely rude.
Now my free service period is over, so I want to change my oil myself. BUT the techs decided to tighten the oil filter SO TIGHT no one can get it off, not me, not my husband, not my friend who’s a mechanic. We tried by hand, AND with an oil wrench, nothing. I’m so pissed right about now.
I Worked for a Toyota dealership, the standard I treated my customers with was much higher. I guess I expect too much. I do not suggest going here.

I traded in my car here and had a decent experience considering that I was working with a dealership. My new vehicle came with free oil changes for life. Awesome, right? Well, here is where my 2 star rating comes in. I always make an appointment at least a week in advance knowing they’re usually pretty busy. I had no idea a simple oil change takes two hours. Everytime I come in for an oil change it takes this long. It’s nice that they have a lot of amenities for those who wait but I feel that having to wait this long for a simple routine service is ridiculous when you’ve made an appointment. This is always my most dreaded errand to run.

This is a five star dealership all around. I’m thrilled with the Toyota Corolla I just purchased here– they have excellent lease incentives for those interested in leasing and some phenomenal opportunities to purchase new or gently used vehicles at incredible pricing. But what really makes Priority standout above other area dealerships is the customer service, from the time I walked in the door until the time I left all my encounters with staffmembers were super positive. I especially had an incredible experience with my salesperson Vu who was extremely patient and very knowledgeable at answering all my questions in a way that made sense to me. You are in very good hands at Priority Toyota Chesapeake.

I’ve been buying my cars from here for years and always have a great experience. I’ve always been treated fair with purchasing and service.

My wify wanted an oil change ended up spending 5 hours waiting. They called twice forcefully told her she needed more work done to her brakes. She ended up late to pick up our son. I have to get out of work To Pick Him up.
Doesn’t stop there. I called Miranda and she hung up on me. No customer service at all worst ever

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Priority and was overwhelmed with the amazing customer service I received from start to finish. Our sales representative, Shelva, was extremely professional, knowledgable, helpful, and patient! Everyone from the receptionist to upper management treated me with respect and kindness. I would highly recommend Shelva and priority to anyone looking for a vehicle.

My husband and I drove all the way from Alexandria to pick up our new black TRD 4 runner this weekend. Priority Toyota ordered the limited edition vehicle for us and got it to the dealership within 2 ½ weeks! Very impressed.
As soon as we walked in we were greeting by at least 3 different people who were making sure we had been helped and led in the right direction. Elmer who was our salesman was courteous, knowledgable, and informative. Vince who took care of the paperwork was fast, efficient and very professional.
We were VERY happy with our experience on Saturday at this dealership. Buying a vehicle has never been easier! I will definitely be making the drive and sticking with Toyota for years to come.

Just got home after spending 6 HOURS at Priority Toyota.
I made my appointment a week ago. I came in at 8:30 AM needing an oil change, state inspection, and license plate rack installation. They also threw in a free car wash. Two hours later, they said that my brakes needed to be replaced, so I agreed to replace them.
Then the power went out for about an hour, which delayed everyone’s service. At 1:30 the service manager apologized and gave me an $ 8 voucher for a free lunch at the priority café. My car wasn’t ready until 2:45.
I understand that power outages happen from time to time, but I waited way longer than I should have. I assume that they overbooked their schedule and were probably falling behind schedule before the power outage happened.

I had a phenomenal experience here working with Giuseppe! He was great, knowledgable, and friendly. He didn’t make us feel pressured and he was very patient with us. We ended up coming up with a deal late one evening and he was at the dealership with us until midnight to make sure we could drive away that night. We had visited RK and Hall dealerships previously and I am glad Priority was our last stop so we could appreciate the difference. The whole dealership staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a lot of perks that sound nice, but honestly I doubt I will actually use. When I took my car in for the paint and leather protection I did take advantage of their shuttle service to take by back to my house. The driver was great company!
Again though, one of the most influential factors was how comfortable we felt here. After feeling uneasy at several dealerships before it was refreshing to not have the added pressure at this dealership. One of the places I went before coming here wouldn’t even talk to me, they were only interested in my husband… even though we told them it would be my car. When I went back to test drive without my husband I felt like I was bothering them. I am very thankful I didn’t have the same uneasy feelings at priority with Giuseppe. I look forward to taking my car here for service in the future and we will definitely be repeat customers for our next vehicle purchase.

Priority deems itself as being a customer friendly place. Priority such as a manicure shop, Wi-​Fi lounge, a café and massage chairs are excellent. They should have these things here, especially when it takes 3 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE!
The first tick off was I scheduled an oil change for my Dodge Avenger (my mistake for buying a Dodge from a dealership that doesn’t deal with Dodge). It was supposed to be at the Priority Super Store on Independence, but the stupid receptionist gave it to Priority Toyota in Chesapeake. If I wanted to come to Chesapeake for an oil change, I would have scheduled it where I bought the car two blocks up the road at Priority Hyundai.
I had a 10:40am appointment (which I was late for since the scheduled me at the wrong location). I got there at 11. The service associates we very apologetic and very courtesy (thus the reason for 2 stars instead of 1). I left at 2:05pm.
While I do have have so called «Priorities for Life», I’d rather spend the stupid $ 30 for a 30 minute oil change than to sit around a car dealership on a beautiful Saturday morning for half the day (and not buying a car). This place is the worst!

The experience ended on a good note thanks to «Uncle» Rudy Deguzman, Rob Brasco, and Vince Seymour. I recommend these three men to anyone who is in need of a new/​used car and financing.
I would have given them 5 stars had i not had to deal with Rob Hucks. He’s a con and only cares about making sales and not about what the customer needs or wants. Don’t let him lead you into anything or sign anything that he drafts up for you. He can make your whole experience shit just like he did to mine. Thankfully three great men came and turned that whole thing around for me.
