Pigtails & Crewcuts Haircuts For Kids

This place did amazing with my daughter today. She loved every minute and they did a great job and keeping her attention and making her look like a princess when she left. Loved this place and will be going back when the time comes. Highly recommend.

After a horrible experience with a stylist who couldn’t have cared less at another shop (rhymes with Great Clips) we decided to take our 2 year old to this shop. He was so excited when he saw through the window that he started pulling me to the door! This shop is awesome, and the stylist was great! Our son couldn’t choose between the airplane or firetruck seats, settling on the firetruck. He had a blast getting his hair cut! We will definitely be back, pretty much for as long as he’s a kid!

I was driving to a different place to get my son’s haircut when I saw Pigtails & Crewcuts. I’m glad I did. There was no wait when we walked in right after school. My son thought it was too babyish when he saw the cute chairs for toddlers. There was a fire truck, police car, jet, etc. (see photo) Then he saw that the side for bigger kids had video game consoles and he thought it was pretty cool. The stylist asked how he wanted it cut and asked questions to make sure she understood what he wanted, then she asked me if that was okay. His haircut turned out great. The establishment was very clean and well maintained. They also do kid manicures and parties. I wish this place had been here for the past decade!

So glad that they opened one near our house. Have always had good experience at Pigtails. I love that the stylists specialize in kids. They’re able to handle little wiggly tots. It makes me feel at ease that my kids are in great hands without worrying so much about their ears getting cut off (ha!). This Chesapeake location is much smaller and less brighter than the VB one, but still the same quality and same price.

They are great my son loved the animal crackers. He is 15 months old and did great for the first cut.
