Megan is wonderful, optimistic and patient. She made herself available when I needed her and helped get my loan get pushed through when I was unsure if I was gonna close on time. I began to lose faith in acquiring my new GORGEOUS home, but her optimism kept me in the drivers seat. I requested to see my «NOW HOME» immediately when it appeared on the market on a friday, and she made herself available SATURDAY MORNING. when she arrived to the property, I discovered that she was on a stay-​cation, but made herself available for me, She’s awesome! We have the offer in FIRST that MONDAY morning; had I waited another day, ONE of the various offers would have went through.

Megan is an awesome realtor and person! My husband is in the navy so I was buying this house on my own from out of state before he comes home from deployment. She was able to squeeze in my house hunt within a few days visit. I had a couple of areas I liked and a list of addresses but the house I ended up buying was one that she found! She was always very quick to respond with any questions or concerns and kept our best interests in mind. I would recommend her to anyone. She’s knowledgable, sweet, and makes the home buying process as smooth as possible.

In my opinion, the two most important aspects of any well run business is that they must be professional and have a strong work ethic. My experience working with Megan Morris was nothing short of amazing. Her communication is phenomenal and constant. She’s a marketing whiz. She gives you a cost benefit analysis sheet to help with your decision and uses an actual photographer (not her cell phone) to take pictures of your home. Most importantly, she’s honest.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across a home for sale with blurry or upside down pictures, pictures of filthy bathrooms with toilet seats up, half made beds, cluttered living rooms and a backyard that only mosquitos, poison ivy and maybe a goat could appreciate. In the advertisements of these homes, things are often misleading or downright incorrect such as square footage, purposely omitting HOA fees or stating that a home has been fully remodeled, just to find out that the sellers only painted the cabinets.
Lastly, if you do inquire on a property, does the agent respond in a timely manner, if at all? Do they show up on time? I called on one property where the realtor told me that he was too busy and that I should get another realtor to show the place. He was the listing agent!
Megan is a stark contrast to most realtors I’ve encountered. She has a background in marketing and advertising and she rocks it. She would never advertise your home in an incompetent manner and her communication is consistently outstanding.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Megan and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Megan Morris quite simply is the GOLD STANDARD of realtors.

I just completed a short sale in Virginia Beach that was stressful and much longer than it should have been. Megan relieved so much of this stress for me and was by my side throughout the entire process from day 1. She was easy to get in touch with, balanced professionalism with a personable personality, displayed superb real estate knowledge, and always updated me on the ongoing process of a short sale. She went above and beyond her duties as a short sale agent, especially when my first buyer fell through. I was almost forced into a foreclosure but Megan patiently pursued my home and found a different buyer at the last minute. I highly recommend Megan and would do it all over again with her if I had to. She deserves more praise than I can even put into words!

Megan is amazing. She stuck by us through all of our questions and roadblocks and we just got a closing date!!! (Fingers crossed that I’m not jinxing anything!) She is so well educated about the HR housing market and has an endless network of helpful colleagues that were able to assist us with a very tricky home sale. The house sat on the market for YEARS before Megan saved us and we had more viewings in the first week than we had in the entire time it had been listed with our last agent.
She is the ABSOLUTE best and I can’t wait until we’re ready to re-​enter the housing market, since she will be our first call.

Megan got us EXACTLY what we wanted, literally down to the exact street I wanted. I’ve heard horror stories about the closing process as well and everything was so smooth. She made the home buying process extremely easy and smooth. She was very patient in finding us our perfect home. As soon as a home on the street I wanted was available she was immediately on it. BEST REAL ESTATE AGENT. I would refer her to anyone and everyone.

Megan is amazing.
First, my husband and I were searching for a realtor on Unilocal and we initially skipped over Megan (#1) because her location says Chesapeake. We were looking in the Ghent/​Colonial Place are and didn’t want to be too big of a bother to the realtor we chose. The realtor we ended up contacting did not even respond to us for 2 weeks — so I decided to reach out to Megan to see if she serviced our area, AND SHE DOES! Norfolk, Chesapeake, Va Beach. And she responded to us immediately via email and phone.
We set up a first meeting for the next Tuesday, and by Wednesday she was showing us 5 houses to get a feel for our wants and needs — by the next Monday we had found our new home. We totally trusted her contacts, people she used a lot for inspections, mortgage loan, title, etc. and they were all top notch. The process went so quickly and smoothly we could hardly believe we’d just bought a house.
Megan takes the time to explain everything and made herself available at all hours if we had any questions or concerns. She made the things we thought were impossible happen with repairs to the new house to be made by the seller. We could not have asked for a better realtor.

My husband and I had never bought a home before, and moreover we were trying to start the process from Hawaii.
Megan was wonderful and made the entire process a breeze. She kept us part of the process every step of the way, was accessible and easy to talk too despite the time difference. She was so thorough in her explanations that we were often hard pressed to think of questions for her.
Every step of the process she made sure we were aware of what was going on, what needed to be done, and what our role was. At no point did we feel lost, confused, or overwhelmed.
When I arrived in Virginia, she continued to be a wonderful help. She was very quick to line up viewings and in getting information for me. I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in the area. I can’t imagine that there is a better realtor.

As a first time home buyer I had no idea what I was getting in to but Megan took really great care of me. I had a huge list of houses that I was interested in and once I realized that I had no idea what I was doing (the great pictures of homes online aren’t usually that great in person!!!) and let her pick some houses for me, I found the perfect one for me. From recommending lenders and insurers to providing me with all the utility phone numbers, Megan was such a great help and I was lucky to have her as my Realtor.

Let me start off by saying that we are not new to the home buying process and we have of course had realtors in the past. In this instance though with having Megan as our realtor, I would probably say it was the best experience we have had. The process went flawlessly and even if there were a few hiccups during negotiations with price and repairs everything went smoothly and was stress free. I would say she was the most prepared realtor, most attentive and paid extra attention to detail.
Upon speaking with Megan for the first time she was very friendly and open and just someone you would want to work with so right off the bat she made us feel that she would work hard to assist us in looking for a home. As she showed us multiple homes my wife was very impressed on how organized she was. In addition, she was very knowledgeable about the Tidewater Area as a whole but we were interested in looking in Chesapeake though.
After she assisted us in submitting an offer, she made sure to follow up with us every step of the way. Our offer was accepted after some negotiation and during escrow, she was very accessible and willing to answer any questions we had in prompt fashion. We just closed on the home and the experience could not have been better. She went above and beyond to fulfill any requests that we may have had and even did the final walk through as we were not in town. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy a home.
