Established in 1968.
Founder and CEO, Wes Foster, graduate of Virginia Military Institute, started Long & Foster in 1968. The company has grown to over 500 firms, 4,000 offices and 120,000 sales associates. He is also a founding member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global real estate network.

Manager
On August 12, 2014 Jo was named as the Managing Broker of the Chesapeake Sales Office, Jo brings 35 years of real estate experience. After a 22 year successful career of listing & selling homes, Jo moved into real estate sales management in 2001.
Jo’s responsibilites are varied and they include training, mentoring and coaching the agents, reviewing all contracts and listing documents. Jo is a «hand’s on» manager and makes herself available to her agents as well as to clients. The agents love being a part of a positive, empowering and drama free office.
There are many managing brokers in the real estate community, and Jo has been honored as the 2013 Manager of the Year for the Virginia Association of REALTORS®. Shortly thereafter, she was named the Manager of the Year for the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association.
