Home of 9 incredible horses and one miniature donkey, all of which are rescues given a second chance at life by our amazing volunteers! We have had horses come from all across the East coast, totaling 40+ rescues within the past 13 years. Malinda Scott, the owner and founder of Easy Does It Riding Academy, Inc. has worked with horses her entire life and built the ranch at which we reside now. She has a true passion for giving abandoned, neglected, starved, and misunderstood horses a second chance at life, love, and happiness.

Hi Y’all! Welcome to our Family Friendly ranch full of second chances! Whether it’s horses, dog, cats, or people… we offer open arms :) We currently run the Easy Does It Ranch in a central location here in Chesapeake, VA.

Our Non-​Profit sister, Pungo Equine Rescue & Rehab takes in rescue horses, rehabilitates them, and turns them into healthy, happy horses that people can befriend and ride. The Ranch, a 501©(3) nonprofit, operates staffed with volunteers

We started on 10 acres in Virginia Beach and now operate a 15 acre ranch in Chesapeake VA

Business Owner

Malinda has been working with horses for over 40 years and has been rescuing horses as her main career for the past 20 years. She owns and operate a fully running ranch along with a 501C3 Non-​Profit organization, Pungo Equine Rescue and Rehab Center.
