History

Established in 1990.

The studio began in 1990. The Director, Dianne Copeland Adcock, has assembled the most prestigious dance and music school in Hampton Roads. All instructors are college degreed in dance, music or education. Their dancers are taught curriculum approved by Dance Masters of America and National Dance University programs. Their dancers have gone on to perform in Disney World and in New York. Their dancers rank very high in college dance auditions and make parts in professional auditions. Their school houses many title holders, including Dance Masters of America Miss Petite Dance, Miss and Mr. Teen Dance and Miss and Mr. Dance of Virginia. The dance company, Dance Magic has performed in Disney World as guest entertainers for 23 consecutive years, they have opened for the Miss America Parade, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, the Alabama Theater and the Grand Illumination Parade. They perform on cruise lines and much more.

Business Owner

Dianne Adcock, has been in dance for 54 years. Teaching for 43 years. She was a dance and theater arts major at Old Dominion University. She has owned Copeland Mills School of the Arts for 25 years. She is a member of Dance Masters of America and serves as Vice President of Dance Teachers Association of Virginia, Chapter 45. She has produced many shows, and professional dancers all over the country. She is a member of the Chesapeake Rotary Club.
