History

Established in 2009.

Chesapeake Custom Builders is a full service remodeling company that currently has 23 employees and has doubled in business each year since opening. 2012 sales reached 1.4 million and the company works in three distinct areas of the construction industry. The interior remodeling division of the company builds additions, remodels bathrooms, remodels kitchens and preforms all aspects of interior remodeling. There are two exterior divisions of the company, exterior living spaces to include outdoor kitchens, pergolas, decks and fences. The third division is concrete, from a drive way to a stamped patio.

Business Owner

A native of Florida Travis moved to Virginia Beach curtsey of the US Navy in March of 1999. In 2002 he moved to the Deep Creek community of Chesapeake. After making the decision to retire from the US Navy, Travis founded Chesapeake Custom Builders in January of 2009, the company quickly grew into a full service residential remodeling company. In December of 2012, Travis and his family moved to Suffolk to give his kids a taste of farm life. The company continued to grow and in July of 2012 purchased property in Deep Creek to be centrally located to service all of tidewater.
