CDG (originally called «Computer Design Graphics») specializes in working with small, local business owners to help grow their business through a variety of services including website design, graphics design & printing. We also do SEO and reputation management. As a small business, CDG is committed to operating with integrity and fairness.

Business Owner

Valerie Cudnik started CDG (formerly Computer Design Graphics) back in 1987 in Silicon Valley with a Mac+, a «huge» 20mb external hard drive, and a dot matrix printer. Desktop publishing had just come into vogue and she applied her experiences in high school journalism along with a slate of college classes and past jobs to become well known in the area for her technical expertise. She ran CDG from their home full time until 1995. Her husband and business partner was on active duty in the Navy and a few military moves found them and their two sons living in Chesapeake, where she continued to do graphic design part time.

In 2003, she went back to school and finally got an associates degree in graphic design, specializing in multimedia, which she used to get a job working at WAVY-​TV. After a couple years she realized she would be happier being self-​employed again and breathed new life into CDG by offering web design services as well.
