Only have gone in once so far, got a deal off of Unilocal so decided to try. Orange crushes are good and only $ 4 on Saturday. Tried their buffalo chicken nachos, they are huge. Def will go back to try their wings and burgers.

I absolutely love this place! The only time I’m not having a 100% good time is when Jake isn’t working. I’ll tell you what, he’s a nice piece of ass to look at, that’s for sure! Besides that, it’s a great place to unwind!

Taco Tuesday shrimp tacos good. 5.99 for 3. Fresh. Liked that they had fresh cilantro and lime. Nice atmosphere. Waitress helpful and not overly attentive. Thinking of coming back for son’s birthday tomorrow. Would recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times and each time the food is just ok. Nothing special and nothing to recommend. They do have great drink specials and a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends. It’s large and clean.

Friendly atmosphere. Bartender was attentive. Burgers made fresh. No frozen patties. Fresh cut fries. No frozen bagged fries. Virginia and local beers. Clean. Drinks made with real fruit. Reasonable prices.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise. My husband and I had driven by this place many times but decided to try it out tonight based on Unilocal reviews. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and the Uncle Sams burger. Our first surprise was when the homemade chips were served to us still hot from the kitchen. Delicious and well seasoned. The wrap was filled with chicken and the burger, with its thick double patties, was definitely big enough to share. We will be back.

I love the bar. It has a great atmosphere. Great food and drinks. The staff is nice, I was happy spending my super bowl here!

Get the buffalo chicken nachos. DO IT. You can make a whole dinner out of them. HUGE portion with jalapeños, green onion, tomato, and sour cream. Also orange crushes and mojitos are GREAT. Super reasonably priced stuff. Also, Bill S. Review is total bullshit. Just visited 30^th and this is one of many times I’ve been here. Consistent service and quality.

After hearing my friends talk about this place me and the wife went after work last Friday. What a cool spot! I had the cheesesteak and wife had the tuna bites. Both were great and the beer was ICE cold. Had a blast and will be coming back soon.

I dare you to find a bad menu item at Buckets. Hands down some of the best diner food in the area. Quality, quantity, and consistency are outstanding. Great wings, burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, etc. I have yet to have a bad meal here. The Orange Crushes are THE best in Chesapeake! Great beer choices. Only thing I would like to see is more local craft beer choices. Kudos to the Buckets kitchen staff! Keep up the good work!

Stopped by here tonight to change things up. Battening was on point. Good specials on drinks. La fin on tap (my fave beer) and general atmosphere is present. Kitchen was closed but from other reviews the pics look good and and plus is they post their wifi password right on the black board. The inside was clean and I’ll definitely be coming back this way soon.

Great food went here on a Tuesday night. The food was quick and it was amazing. I had the cheese steak and my wife had the club sandwich both were very good. Place was clean and a very nice décor. Thanks T

This place is great! My husband and I are fairly new to the area and we have now visited this place twice since moving to Chesapeake over the summer. We took our parents here a few months ago and we had a great time. The service was very good and the waitress was very attentive and very talkative and friendly (even went along with my dad’s sarcasm and jokes). The food is super fresh and has great flavor! My husbands favorite is the French fries, freshly cut and not overly greasy or salty. We all had the orange crushes and they were amazing as it was the first time we ever had them anywhere! And not to mention, $ 4 dollars for a decent amount of alcohol.
My husband and I went back last night and had a great time! It was very relaxing and chill. The music is a tad too loud while trying to talk, but it’s just that kind of place. We were discussing how it would be really fun to come hang out here later in the evening with some friends and listen to the band and have a good time. The food and the service was great last night as well! We will definitely be back!

Came in here for lunch and ordered a burger and a drink. The burger came out quickly and perfectly med rare. Omg! That burger was so delicious! Hand made for sure! Willing to go back and try out other menu items.

To start out we went at 1900 and the place only had two other people in it so we were a little worried. But the staff was very friendly and knew the menu well. The fried macaroni bites were amazing and there were about 15 – 20 of them. The 8oz burger was excellent. Probably one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. The fries were home made and tasted as such. They were a great side. I can see myself coming back many more times.

Great experience! My husband and I went Thursday afternoon and the service was great. I also liked the décor inside. The fried pickles were really good. One note: Although the presentation was nice, the amount of dipping sauce was not nearly enough for the amount of pickles. But they had no problem giving us extra sauce! I loved my Classic cheeseburger. The beef was very flavorful and cooked the way I requested. I also tried my husband’s boneless wings. They didn’t taste processed at all and the flavors were very good. We will be back, especially when I just want a good burger!

We got old bay, sriracha garlic and hot wings. Old bay wings were good. Just a little salty.
$ 5 jumbo margaritas and orange crushes.

The sampler with the fried pickles and fried mac and cheese… Stupid good!
Tuna bites were really good. Just a little small.

FINALLY a great place to EAT and chill in Great Bridge/​Hickory!
The atmosphere is fun and «clean», the service is genuine and pleasant, and the food was fresh, LOCAL and oh so scrumptious!
I had the Parmigiana/​Garlic Wings (bone in as they also have boneless, the friend pickles (which are Perfect in every way!!) and the «Fresh» cut fries with some Malt Vinegar of course… sorry honey… my poor husband hates when I do that to them!
My kids loved it and they had my Favorite Devil’s Back Bone flavor! The prices were spot on and I wish I had more room in my belly before I had to force myself to get up from my cozy seat. The band was setting up as we were heading out just after 9:00 but ‘ll be back Buckets! I’ll be back!!!

This place has a lot of potential! Only been open a few weeks and are still looking for feedback from patrons. GREAT Atmosphere and a staff that truly seems to want everyone to have a great experience. Owner took time to check in on us and share his vision and gather our feedback.
Spontaneous stop so we did not get to eat, having just come from dinner, but the food looked GREAT and we will certainly be back to try a few things. Decent beer tap and great drink specials. The Orange Crush was much better than I anticipated, it was not too sweet like many, as the use a WHOLE Orange, not a half topped with super-​sweet OJ.
As long as they stick with their play I am sure they will be very successful.
