Went into CH location this afternoon. No other customers in building which I thought was odd for a sale going on. Store felt run down. Sales associate was Ok, little chatty but was letting us walk around and look and talk to each other. Was deciding between two and the sales associate proceeded to say someone of my weight should really look into an I series bed. He then proceeded to tell me his weight was 271 pounds. This is offensive and inappropriate on multiple levels. 1-we told him our budget which was not the bed he was recommending. 2-my weight not only did he not know, I have a infant at home and commenting on my body or whatever weight he thinks I am is none of his business. We were so taken aback by his comment and recommendation that we immediately left. As we were walking out the door he yelled he would match anyone else’s prices since we had to go shop around. We did buy a bed today, just not from Rick. Also, when testing out the beds large black bugs are in the ceiling light fixtures. Nothing like roaches to keep it interesting. Avoid this place at all cost!

Mattresses, as I’ve learned recently, are extremely expensive. And complicated. Coil. Memory foam. Soft. Firm. Queen. King. Anywho, after much research and many painful visits to various establishments that sell mattresses, I found myself at The Mattress Factory where mattresses are sold at factory direct prices without a retail mark-up. Even better, as I learned, the salesmen don’t work off commission. I love a commission-free salesman. The sales transaction was quick and painless. Delivery is quick, too — my appointment is scheduled for five days after the purchase. The delivery fee is paid separate in cash directly to the delivery driver when the mattresses are delivered. This is definitely a place I will return to when I’m ready to make another mattress purchase.
