Reply back to first review: I appreciate the reply back but she never mentioned highlights to me and I know what Olaplex is since my hairdresser in California used it whenever I put in highlights. So to say that I didn’t want highlights is wrong and she simply never mentioned it to me. Honestly, I’m not trying to say anything bad about her and she did a good job styling my hair but she did leave my hair very brassy and I did mention to her that I was afraid the second time of putting ash in my hair that it would turn brassy, which it did. If she would of asked more questions and listened to me maybe it could of been avoided. I’ve had to go to another salon to correct the color. I do think you have a beautiful salon and the price is great but she needs to really ask the client more questions and listen more. Thanks for replying though and wish it would of worked out differently!

Janyra is a magician! With my 3c/​4a mix of Dominirican (Dominican and PR) curls it’s not easy to trust someone with your hair whether that’s cutting, coloring, etc. I’ve been going to Janyra for years. She’s done my hair for my wedding and I received so many compliments. Most recently, I went back for a cut and balayage on my curls and she did not disappoint. Now my hair is not easily tamed and it takes someone highly qualified to handle it with care. That’s why I will always go back to Janyra because she always gives the time and attention my hair needs. She never rushes me off no matter how many hours it takes and is always fun to talk to. I also love the new salon! Staff is very friendly and nice.

This place is great! I have curly hair so I’m super iffy about anybody doing it. Stacey knew to cut my hair dry then color it. She took the time to help me find the perfect color before doing anything to my hair. She did an excellent job and I 100% recommend this place to anyone. This was my first time at this salon and I will definitely be back!

I highly recommend Janyra and her salon! The atmosphere is trendy and inviting and I Love Love Love my new hair do! I was nervous but dead set on cutting my long hair super short and Janyra did such an amazing job! I cant wait to go back for some color!

This salon is a piece of shit. Worse place i ever went. I don’t see how they can have so many good reviews. I went in expecting a ombree, but i walked out with dark brown ends that aren’t no where near being visible. (only when sun light in shinning down on me) I walked out 200 dollars short. Half of the stuff on the bill i didn’t even ask for. The «stylist» doing my hair just kept adding and adding. I had no idea what was going on till i got billed. This place is a joke. The lady i had was super lazy and impatient. She wanted to go home. She only left the bleach on for like 5 – 10 minutes. I don’t recommend this place to anybody. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I meant to write a review months ago! I had my hair styled by Paige. I have naturally curly thick mixed hair. I wanted subtle balayage and a trim and she did a wonderful job. It still looks great 3 months later! Usually its hard to find someone who knows how to style or color my hair! My hair wasn’t over processed or cut into the dreaded xmas tree cut. The salon was really cute too! The décor was done tastefully and the shop feels warm and inviting. I will definitely be frequenting Signature Salon!

I got my hair blown out today by Kayla for a bridal shower. I had used the blow dry bar nearby but wasn’t terribly impressed. Kayla got me out in an hour flat and did a BEAUTIFUL JOB for $ 30. Definitely worth it. :) Big curls and they lasted thru the shower. Will be going back for all occasions where I want to look that extra level of glam!

I went home and cried three times because that’s how much I hated my hair, but didn’t have the heart to say anything to the stylist. I was very specific about what I wanted, was immediately upfront about my pet peeves, brought in a picture and asked questions but nothing was delivered to what I asked. Therefore I would not feel comfortable having my color fixed by the same person in fear that they will once again, not deliver. I am completely devastated because I was so excited based on the reviews and it cost $ 155 not including tip.
My roots are basically still the same color even after I asked if she would be evening it out (so from top to bottom I have 3 hair colors right now, my root color, a color that is a shade lighter with some reddish tones, and then the balayage… Which the only reason I even booked an appointment was because I needed to get my roots touched up along with the balayage) When I showed the picture of what I wanted I was told that it could be delivered but it was not until I asked myself if it would come out that color that I was told that it wouldn’t. I was just told it would not come out as bright. I knew the balayage was not going to turn out the color I wanted but I hate the color it did come out and would have appreciated being «shown» the color it was going to come out because then I would have declined. I was told that my hair would not look copper but it looks more copper than before… I am just absolutely devastated and will have to spend extra money to fix it elsewhere.

I’m so glad I found this place on Unilocal,wow. I was looking for a place for my mom who can be get anxious person when it comes to a haircut. Stacey was brilliant. She eased my mom into her idea of a haircut, she cut in layers to make sure she never cut too much, she’s also super agreeable to chat with. My only regret is that I did not take a before and after photo because the haircut was phenomenal and completely transformed her look. Thank you, I will be back again soon.

I was very impressed with this salon, it is beautifully decorated, centrally located and the staff is amazing! I have very thick Puerto Rican hair and I normally go back «home» to get my hair done but that’s 30 minutes away. Therefore, I am glad I found this salon.
Paige did my hair, I made an appointment the day before and they were able to get me in. I was actually seen at my appointment time which is rare for hair salons! I was in and out in an hour. I got a cut, in layers, got my hair washed, blow dried and styled. It was by far the best hair salon experience I have ever had. And to top it off Paige worked well with my hair, I was pleasantly surprised and I my husband absolutely loved my hair. I went to a baby shower that day and everyone kept telling me they loved my hair.
I felt gorgeous walking out and it was very reasonably priced. The one downside that I wish I would have known before is that tips are cash only so keep that in mind.
I will definitely be returning. I am so happy I found a hair salon that can deal with my hair and isn’t 30 minutes away.

Thank God for Unilocal and all the great reviews as I took a chance and booked a much needed cut correct and highlights. All I can say is the salon is easily accessible and it’s a cozy and super friendly place. I have not been to a stylist in over 5 yesrs. YIKES ! I was in major need of getting my dead ends cut and having. A professional color my hair not me as I was doing, more damage than good.
I absolutely cannot believe what a fantastic job my stylist did. Paige is the Picasso of Hair artistry!
She is such a doll and so nice and I love the awesome job she did with my hair. Everyone, from the sweet receptionists and owner really make u feel comfy but Paige is my hair goddess. Look forward to seeing Paige again when it’s time for another appt. It’s a great salon and I highly recommend Paige, a miracle worker!

Going to a stylist for the 1^st time is an anxiety loaded experience, not only for the client, but the stylist as well if you find it difficult to convey what you’re aiming for, coupled with the fact that neither of you knows the other. With that said, I recommend Stacey without reservation.1^st appointment was to ‘fix’ a recent cut from another salon which was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Stacey took the time to listen to my ranting, explained what she would do, and I left happy enough to return again for baylayage color. Thanks Stacey, Awesome!

Mt stylist, Stacey, I believe, was PHENOMENAL. I had waist long hair that had been gradually getting shorter but was ready for the chop. I was concerned that the cut wouldn’t work for my face shape. She took the time to ease all of those concerns. We also discussed natural hair texture, lifestyle and expectations surrounding the cut. I have never been more pleased with a hair cut as I was when I walked out the door. 4 days later and I am still loving it. I will be back!

I looked for a stylist for two years, and then I found Janyra because of her glowing Unilocal reviews. They were not overstated. Her haircuts leave me feeling younger and sassier! The salon is really nice, centrally located, and Janyra is easy to talk to (and I’m an introvert).
One helpful tip: You can’t put tips on your card, so bring cash for the tip. I usually forget and have to run across the street to the Bank of America.

I’m writing my second review for this place! I got a glaze this time and it’s wonderful. My hair is shiny and looks strong and healthy!!! I’m so happy with my hair. I look and feel like a million bucks! I love this salon.

Good haircut. It’s new so it’s super clean. It was easy to get an appointment with the owner (that’s who I asked for. I might try the other girl, Paige, who also has good reviews). Having done my research, I noticed that they want to blow out hair with flowy curls. I had to stop her and ask for something more edgy. Don’t be afraid to speak up so you get what you want. She was receptive and I was relieved.

I love my hair now! After not being happy with my former hairstylist of over 5 years, I decided to go searching. As most women know, it’s difficult to trust anyone with your hair, especially once you get used to the same stylist for years. I searched the internet for reviews and was so lucky to find Signature Salon. Paige cut my hair and she is fabulous. The whole experience was great including the salon décor itself. Very tastefully decorated. I’m more happy with my hair now than I’ve been in years, one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! Thank you so much Paige! I’m getting so many compliments. I highly recommend going here for an all around great salon experience. Side note: for me it was a little bit pricey at $ 50 for the cut, but worth every penny!

I’ve been going to Janyra for years and I was so happy to hear she now has her own place! I’m especially picky due to my Dominican and Puerto Rican background, my hair is very curly! This time Janyra wasn’t available so she recommended Paige. I was a bit nervous as I have had a lot of bad experiences. I got a dry cut and a color, Paige did a great job! After being with the same stylist for ten years in Orlando, I was terrified when we moved here and I had to find a new one! I went to a friend-​of-​a-​friend first and had a less than stellar experience, so I was VERY apprehensive to trust someone I’d never met with my hair!
After checking them out on Unilocal and Facebook, I booked an appointment with Janyra. I was very nervous when I showed up, but the ambience was beautiful and the receptionist was very friendly and offered me a drink. Janyra saw me right away, listened to my concerns and helped me decide the best course of action during the awkward growing-​it-​out stage after a bob.
She was extremely friendly and I immediately felt comfortable, and was able to trust her judgement. Not only did she help fix my hair, and she did a great job on my bangs, but she styled it beautifully afterwards!
