My name is Joe O. I have been with RRS since May 2013. I started my RRS career as the Store Manager here in Cherry Hill. I have been with a few other good companies over the last decade, but none of them compare to Road Runner Sports. I love our company, the products, the atmosphere … but most of all … the people! I have always had a passion for team sports or hobbies such as … traveling, hiking, running, roller hockey, spending time with family and friends. Working here at RRS is the place that makes me FEEL GREAT!”

Great first experience buying new running shoes! Linda helped to build my profile and mold the insoles (which were great but, to me, not worth the $ 60 price tag). Andrew was my «fit expert» and spent around 45 minutes helping me decide between several pairs of shoes. Awesome customer service, and he really listened to my opinions and needs. I’m an intermediate-​level runner, but he taught me a new way to lace up my shoes and a ball I could use (better than the tennis ball I’ve been using) to stretch out my arches. I was able to run on the treadmill with each pair, and I never had to waste time looking at an overwhelming wall of running shoes. They’ll try to sell you everything, from insoles to socks, but if you’re not running marathons, the shoes should be just fine. I’ll definitely return for my next pair! And be sure to sign up for their discounts, too.

My first time visiting the store on Tuesday, I went to purchase sneakers for my upcoming race. Albert was very informative, knowledgeable and patient about the products sold in the store and with my questions. I believe I had the best rep in the store! I left satisfied with some awesome new sneakers and VIP membership which means I’m a Very Important Person! Lol I will definitely be back soon to purchase another pair of sneakers. As long as they are not the color purple! lol Albert gets 4 thumbs up.

I went to Road Runner back in June 2013 after hearing so many wonderful things about the store– from the foot analysis to the shoe selection. I bought a pair Brooks back in June & loved them so much that I took my sister in law there & bought myself a second pair! This time around– Pete did the Shoe Dog with us & Lissy helped us choose the perfect sneaker! Pete & Lissy were so informative & friendly without pushing sales on to us. Even thought the store was extremely busy– they both were still attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend Road Runner & plan on continuing to purchase my sneakers from Road Runner! Thank you Pete & Lissy for excelling at what you do!

Shoedog was very informative and fun. Last year I was fitted with a different company and told stability sneakers would be best for my career & healthy lifestyle. I suffer from herniated disc & noticed an increase in pain a few months after, so I purchased another pair of stabilty, but pain remained. I assumed the pain was from increased activity. After suggestions from my active friends I tried Road Runner & was shocked to learn I’m Neutral and had been wearing wrong sneakers. Glen & Albert provided me with many options and also shared tips to help my success. I’m now wearing my 1st pair of Brooks (Glycerin 12), I’m walking on air, &the back pressure has lifted.
I joined the VIP program and greatly enjoy the security of knowing if I do have an issue I can return or exchange within 90days without issue. You’ve earned my future business. Thank you

I went to this store to kill some time and had no intention of buying anything except some gu. New sneakers and orthotics were not on my radar! I ended up doing the shoe dog analysis (what runner can resist that?!), it was great! Joe and Pete were so knowledgeable and the customer service was excellent. I’m a Brooks girl so they stuck to my Brooks needs, and I left with some glyercin 12s and custom orthotics which I love! Glad I decided to kill some time!

Been out of my running routine for a long time. So long that I felt it was necessary for me to start over as a beginner again. Because I live in western Washington state, I wanted to make sure I hit a running store while I was visiting family here in NJ. Well, I chose right! As soon as I walked in, Al scooped me right up and got me going on the Shoe dog, which was a little odd at first but I was really impressed with it. I got my gait figured out, my size figured out, and my goals figured out. Then Peter came over and took me to the shoes and turns out the very first pair he chose is what I went with. I feel so capable and motivated after getting hooked up with the right gear! Thanks for the awesome customer service guys! :-)

Wonderful very helpful staff, even on an extremely busy Saturday morning. I was very pleased with the Shoe Dog analysis. It showed me somethings that I figured were happening but wasn’t sure. It was easy and convenient. I also feel like I wasn’t forced into a certain type of shoe. Linda was awesome and very patient with me. She noticed when I had reservations about certain things and answered very knowledgeably all of my questions. She really helped me find 2 great pairs of shoes. I have and will continue to recommend this location and this company to my friends.

I visited the store looking for a new pair of shoes as I have a few races in the next couple of months. Although I’ve been evaluated and fitted before I went ahead and went through their fitting process. Glad I did, learned a few things that I was not aware of, in the process was able to get some inserts. Was abler to try on a few pair of shoes with the inserts and found exactly what I was looking for. Went on my first run yesterday with the new shoes … boy do the inserts make a difference, what a great investment!
Lissy and Linda were very friendly and patient through the process … great service! Will definitely be back when it’s time to buy another pair of shoes.

I need more running gear like I need a hole in my head, but I love this store and it has become an addiction of mine.
My friend needed new sneakers for a half marathon that she is training for so we came here for her to get fitted for new sneakers. The whole staff made our experience a spectacular one from start to finish. I believe Glen was the fit expert that helped my friend find the perfect pair of sneakers and she got the custom insole made. While I was waiting for her — I couldn’t leave things well enough alone and bought yet more stuff. It’s the service! You can’t find better service, you just can’t! You could go to a big box store & have someone go in the back and bring you a pair of shoes or you could come here & talk to a well trained highly engaged runner who is passionate about the sport.

Came in with my dad for both of us to get new running shoes! We were both extremely satisfied with the service and the Shoe Dog analysis that they do here!
I have never had better service than I did here! Peter was great and helpful! He was a wealth of knowledge when completing the Shoe Dog analysis and so helpful with assisting us on choosing shoes!
In addition to the service, the Shoe Dog analysis is great in helping find the perfect fit! Peter made us custom insoles with the results from the test on how we stand and our run. They are optional to buy! We did both purchase them because the VIP membership gave us a good discount so that are shoes & custom insoles were the same price as they would be at other running stores!
This store was great! Affordable for a running store, large selection of shoes, and awesome service! I will be going back in the future!

Great sneaker selection and the employees do a great job at checking your running features, only problem is they automatically form and cut an insole and don’t ask you, you think it’s part of the process, then they try to charge you $ 70 for it. You say no thanks then they try to talk you into trying it for 2 weeks. Overall nice store but don’t get suckered into their custom insole make.

My boyfriend Pat and I came upon the store by accident after running a race in NJ. He has always liked the website. We had a great experience at the store. We both got fitted for shoes with the Shoe Dog. Jamie made the experience very informative and helpful. She is more than a salesperson. She is truly knowledgeable and obviously likes to work with people. She is the epitome of customer service. She helped us both find the correct shoes. She let us run on the treadmill to assess the shoes for ourselves and then gave us her advice also. She also helped me find tights and assisted us at the injury prevention wall where we found the foot roller. We left with 2 pair of shoes, tights, and a foot roller saving almost $ 100 on our purchase. We joined the VIP club and the bell rang for us. There was beer in the store for St Paddy’s Day. The store has special events regularly. Can’t wait to return!

This store was recommended to me by some of the members in my running group and I’m so glad I took their advice. Jamie was super helpful and professional but not in a just trying to make a sale type of way. I did the Shoe Dog fit test and learned a lot about me feet and which type of shoe I should buy for running. Signed up for the VIP discount and got another discount thanks to my awesome running group. Jamie made the whole experience enjoyable, fun and personalized. Would recommend this store and will definitely come again to buy more shoes. Prices are a little higher than most places but with their wear’em and love’em or return policy, it’s certainly worth it.

I have been shopping Road Runner online for years now so I was excited when they opened a store nearby. And I just so happened to need a new pair of running shoes during opening weekend! We went over and started with the Shoe Dog fit test. Allie was very helpful. Sam brought out several pairs of shoes for each of us and was extremely patient as we tried them all on. We each ended up wit h a new pair, which was great. A few things — the selection is much more limited than online, and it would be nice if they had iPads or something to show all the colors a shoe comes in if they don’t have all the colors in store. Also, they fit you for inserts but don’t openly tell you the cost… I knew to ask ($ 71 with the VIP discount) but I would be really unhappy if I was fitted and fell in love with them without knowing the significant cost. The 90-​day guarantee (wear them for 90 days and return if you don’t love them) is the best benefit of the VIP membership. Overall, I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you need athletic shoes, apparel!
