One of our favorite, go-to spots in Cherry Hill. We’ve been fans for years, and have always enjoyed the food. We have even celebrated family birthdays here(they have a private back room) and introduced many friends to this great restaurant. Highly recommend everything on the menu — pasta is wonderful, seafood is fresh, pizza is great, and we all love the crab and avocado salad, which is definitely large enough for two people. In the warmer weather, you can sit outside in the courtyard. Overall, always a great experience!

Went there for a pre-wedding dinner. The location was hard to find — maybe the website can include the GPS coordinates — so we started late. The restaurant was very understanding. The private dining room was great, the service was outstanding and the food was wonderful. I had salmon and it was one of the best ever!

Went here on a Sunday night — before Labor Day, to be precise. my girlfriend wanted to be seated outside, and they were quick to oblige. Our waiter, Sam, was very polite and brought out some bread, which we enjoyed. It was a nice night out and our food came shockingly fast. I had the chicken parmigiana. Prior to this, I had run into some rather mediocre versions of this dish, but I gotta say, this totally blew me away, even though it came with an odd baked pasta side(when a more typical pasta would have been preferable… but that’s a minor, personal complaint). She got some kind of pizza and then mousse, none of which did much for me, but hey, I didn’t order it. She liked it. The place is very scenic and visually pleasing. It’s a little on the pricey side, but it’s not too bad, and I definitely didn’t feel cheated when I was done. There’s not much more to say. I’ve only been there once, but if you want a place with some good atmosphere and some dynamite chicken parmigiana, this is a great choice.

The pear sachetti is LIFE!!! I can’t imagine anything tasting better. I’ve only had takeout from here so I can’t comment on service and all but I’m sure it’s great. Will have to make it my next date night.

This restaurant was very nice. We enjoyed the décor and atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Everything was nicely portioned and foods tasted great. We ordered the special prosciutto and melon appetizer. Wow. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, a mozzarella ball, with prosciutto covered over cantaloupe. I ordered the seafood caciucco pasta. It came with jumbo shrimp, scallops, mussels over pasta. My fiancé ordered the champagne pear sacchetti pasta. It was a ricotta stuff pasta with a walnut cream sauce. We loved it all.

Sat outside on the beautiful patio with the love of my life. Our server Mario was very attentive but never intrusive. My first visit here and I was blown away. I had the veal Marsala which was to die for. Thank you Mario for an awesome, romantic evening. Your photography skills rocked.

So far so good! The avocado salad there is the best. Love to sit outside when it’s warm enough. Always recommend to friends and will be back.

Great salad! Decent fish entrees. Disappointing dessert. Friendly, but slow, service. Nice dining room. The outside eating area looks nice, but it was snowing on our visit. Fair price.

This place is amazing. My mom and I come here every time I’m home from New York… the food honestly rivals anything I’ve eaten in the city. We usually start with calamari which is great but the entrees are delicious. The Scampi Rapini is the best — I always get it with angel hair instead of spaghetti. There is a TON of crabmeat. Usually too much for one sitting. Also, their specials are normally great. Really nothing bad to say about this place! Thinking about their food is making me hungry :)

Tired. The food here is tired. Granted, we did not sample a large variety of what was on the menu, but what we had could have been made so much better. We shared the crab cheesecake because the boyfriend loves crab, so I obliged. Tasted like it was made the day before, and it just didn’t have anything special to it. The cucumber salad that was served with it was too sweet in my opinion as well. We both had personal size pizzas. He the arugula & prosciutto, and I the nonna’s special, with sausage and pepperoni. They weren’t terrible, but they weren’t great. The sauce was watery, the crust was too thick to be called«authentic brick oven pizza» and again, no «wow factor» … I feel like I am being too hard on this place, because everyone else seems to love it, but I know good & authentic Italian, check my other reviews. This ain’t it, ragazzi.

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants. We come here pretty frequently, and we’ve had many 21st birthday parties and rehearsal dinners here too! The atmosphere is nice, cozy and intimate but still friendly. The outdoor courtyard is beautiful in nice weather, and they actually have real grapes growing on a trellis outside. Their food is also delicious. My sister has a gluten allergy and can still easily find plenty of things to eat, one of her favorites is the beef skewers. I am a vegetarian and love their pear sacchetti. My parents love their flatbreads and duck, and my husband always gets some variation of a seafood pasta dish. We also love that it’s a BYOB, you can eat and drink plenty and still keep the cost down. Definitely give this place a chance, you won’t regret it!

Have visited Toscana on several occasions. Enjoy the food very much, but well over priced for quantity, especially the specials. Its a bit easier to swallow if you bring your own cocktails for a better experience. The quality of their food is superb. The atmosphere is just fine. I have had everything from broccoli rabe and sausage to the veal chop and was never disappointed. Everything seems fresh and not frozen which I would more then expect for the price. Their bread is imported from somewhere in North Jersey and makes the experience even more enjoyable. Service is fine unless it gets real busy, then prepare for a wait. Overall, a must try and don’t forget its a BYOB.

Great place to take someone on the first date! It isn’t overly fancy yet nice enough. The food was great. We ordered and shared a flatbread with prosciutto, arugula, and cheese as well as a light fish dish with spinach and potatoes. For dessert, they came out with all your options on a silver platter. That is how you should sell dessert! We couldn’t resist after seeing the bread pudding. And I’m glad we got it cause it was AMAZING! I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. the courtyard is nicely decorated, you have to see it for yourself. We sat inside which was nice too. The service we received wasn’t the best. Our waiter did not seem to be in a good mood. He was MIA half the time when we needed him. I’m glad even though it looked busy, we were able to be seated almost immediately upon arriving.

GREAT food. The only reason this place is getting 4 stars is because there was quite a bit of waiting after ordering our wine and food, which was not the waiters fault, because he was in charge of a bunch of tables. He was as attentive as he could be. I think they might have been understaffed. As far as food and atmosphere, both were spectacular. We ate outside in the lower courtyard, and the ambiance was like a little Italy. Grape vines overhead, and enough plants to make you feel like you were away from the world. I got the Saltibocca Filet Mignon. It was cooked to the perfect medium like I asked and served with fresh asparagus and Potato Fontina Torta which was like a cheesy potato lasagna. We also got the Chocolate Mousse. DELISH. Definitely check it out for a great date night, or a classy girls night out dinner!

I have always liked this place — it had a nice ambiance, always busy. The food and the dessert are all very good. My only problem the last time we came — group of 5 — is with reservations — we waited 50 minutes to be seated past out reservation time. I get that they are booked on Saturday nights but they shouldn’t take the reservations if they don’t have space.

This is authentic Italian? I can tell you — no. First my entrée was the seafood manicotti. My food came so fast which is a scary thought because you know it was not cooked to order. Results? I was right. The seafood had such a freezer/refrigerator taste that you could tell this seafood has not seen salt water in months. The sauce was so bland(basically tomato juice) where was the basil? Garlic? No flavor in general. I am not impressed and will not return. I can make better food at home or dine on real italian food elsewhere.

My wife and went here for our anniversary lunch. As my friend Superfly Y., mentioned, the atmosphere for dining outside is fantastic. It is easy to forget that you are in Marlton. The pergola has real grape vines and grapes, it really does feel like Tuscany. The outside dining area is better then the inside area, and the inside of Tosacna is very nice also. It did not hurt that we had perfect September day without a cloud in the sky. We had two lunch specials, one was a seafood salad with crab meat, shrimp, and squid over greens. This was very good, light and fresh. We also shared a lamb/bison burger with Tuscan potato salad. I was a little concerned about this but when the dish came out, it was outstanding. The coffee and dessert was also very good. Our service was really attentive and the food came out pretty fast, especially for the quality. I highly encourage people to enjoy the outside dining area at Toscana before it gets too cold. It won’t disappoint.

Generally, when I’m out with my mom, servers do not look at me all too often. They’ll acknowledge me for two seconds when I’m ordering drinks/food, but otherwise, it’s all eyes on my mom — the perceived wallet of the table. Such was not the case today at Ristorante Toscana, a place I’ve been wanting to try for a long while now. My mom actually pointed out the novelty. The server saw me as an equal person! Score. Anyway. The first thing to notice about this restaurant: the décor. It could be seen as gaudy, as it overdoes the Italy-thing a bit, but I liked it. I’ll take any chance I can to feel like I’m back in Europe.(Sigh. Travel bug is usually stifled.) The bread/butter were both good, as were the caesar salad, gnocchi, and crispy chicken terra cotta dishes. Really enjoyed the side mashed potatoes, too. We were way too full for dessert, but the tray had plenty of tantalizing choices on it! I’d definitely go back — especially to sit out on the patio area on a cooler day!

We come to Toscana about once or twice a year, usually for a birthday or holiday dinner with my in-laws. We always have a great experience from beginning to end. Regardless of the day, we always make a reservation. When we arrive, our table is always ready. Today I arrived about 20 minutes earlier than the rest of my party, and got to enjoy sitting outside in the patio area. The waiters/waitresses are always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and are good to make recommendations. My mother-in-law loves this place because I guess it is one of the few local places where she can get duck(this vegetarian wouldn’t know about this sort of thing). I usually get a pasta dish here, such as the gnocchi with gorgonzola crème sauce(heavy, but SOOO tasty!) or the champagne pear sacchetti(also heavy, and a little sweet, and also delicious). Both are always amazing. However, tonight, wanting something not so heavy, I opted for the Eggplant Rollatine. I prefer this over something like an eggplant parm because it is not fried. It is still filling, as it is stuffed with cheese and spinach, but not as bad. Also, it is served with just a little portion of a baked pasta with cheese, which was nice. I didn’t want a huge side of spaghetti as one usually gets with an eggplant parm. I was served 2 rollatines with the pasta, and took one rollatine home. If you want to order a salad with your meal, it’s extra, but you can add on a small version of the lettuce wedge, cesar, or four seasons salad for $ 4. Salads are always a nice size for a pre-meal side salad, and always fresh, with just the right amount of dressing. Most importantly is dessert. This can make or break an Italian restaurant. Thankfully, Toscana delivers. I’ve had their homemade tiramisu — amazing; I’ve tried their crème brulee, which is my husband’s stand-by — amazing; tonight I tried the orange ricotta cheese cake which my sister-in-law got — amazing; and for myself I got the banana bread pudding, served with vanilla gelato and drizzled with caramel sauce — AMAZING! Toscana’s not a place we go to on a real regular basis, but definitely a place we enjoy for special occasions with the family. Everyone loves it.
