Infinite Endodontics

My visit to Spencer Saint-​Cyr was a total waste of time. Definitively unfriendly and expensive.
Saint-​Cyr himself has horrible bedside manner and repeatedly interrupted me to tell me how I «made no sense» when I was simply explaining the reason for my visit. I had received a referral for his office from my regular dentist when I visited them with a complaint of a toothache. My dentist couldn’t determine the reason for it and told me that Saint-Cyr’s office has a wonderful «3D xray» tool that could determine what was wrong with my tooth. That’s what I was requesting on my visit to Saint-Cyr’s, but he said the 3D xray would be pointless and wanted to do a root canal right then, even though he admitted he had NO IDEA what was wrong with my tooth.
The cost of the 3D xray? $ 190. The cost of the root canal, that I didn’t even need? $ 500+.
He wasn’t able to diagnose the reason for my toothache (probably since he didn’t want to do the 3D xray) and had his assistant take regular xrays of my tooth. The first one she messed up so she took a second. I was billed for BOTH of these even though it was their own error.
I do want to say that his assistant Erin was very sweet and did her job well. It really seemed like she was babysitting him because she was constantly directing him in the halls when I was waiting.
So, not only did he bill me $ 108 for the visit, $ 28 for one xray and an additional $ 24 for the first one they messed up, he also added $ 50 for a «tooth vitality test». What test? He barely looked at my teeth for all of 5 seconds.
All of this for him to interrupt me constantly and waste 2 hours of time. I think he’d be better at his job if he focused more on listening to his patients and less on adjusting his fashionable glasses and matching his many beaded bracelets with his scrubs.

Great staff… Excellent treatment! office is clean and they know how to make you comfortable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Saint-​Cyr did a wonderful job on my husband’s crown. No complaints whatsoever with the procedure.
HOWEVER, we were overbilled more than $ 700 which we had to pay up front. Then, when our insurance company sent me an EOB, I saw that we’d paid way too much. I immediately contacted Infinite and was told that they would look into the matter. I called back after 2 days and was told that they had sent up a request to their refund department to issue a check. Unfortunately their refund department only works on Fridays! And I would receive my refund within 30 days.
30 days! Really! So, here I sit, 30 days later and I just got off the phone with them again. This time I was told that the refund would be issued within 30 – 40 BUSINESS days. Obviously their billing department is completely inept!
So, my advice to anyone considering going to Dr. Saint-​Cyr you contact your insurance company FIRST and find out exactly what is covered. That way if they try to overcharge you it won’t take you months to get the money back!

Ahhhh… the famous visit to the Dentist office:) Infinite Endodontics has an extremely nice and professional staff. They take care of you the moment you walk in. Dr. Saint-​Cyr made sure I understood what has happened with my tooth, what my options were and what needed to be done. The procedure was very painless and quick. Very careful work and detailed procedures given so all runs as smooth as possible w/​a root canal. I was given painkillers before they started numbing me and even got a follow up call later on to see how I was feeling. Definitely a place I would recommend even if you don’t live close by.

Worst possible place to have a root canal. They messed up my tooth and after several returns still can’t get it right.
Add to this that they erroneously quoted me a price $ 1,000 less than actual price, you have the makings of an inept practice.
Honor and save your teeth by avoiding this place at all costs.

Horrible place. Expect the dentist to jab the needle into your mouth in an uncaring fashion, then expect him to half ass put the crown on so that you’re in pain and can’t close your mouth because the crown is sitting too high, then you can expect it to fall off while breaking the tooth he just ‘fixed’. Not only that, expect a horrible attitude and to be treated like trash. If the big dumb dentist actually speaks to you, it’s only some ignorant comment. This idiot doesn’t have to be nice, but he should at least act professional

The place is great with friendly staff and good waiting area. I, however, am not fan of the 1 hour wait inside although I had a TV to keep my company. They did a great job on my tooth in their root canal therapy. I barely even felt a pinch when they tried to numb me up which I find to be a big deal for me.

After waiting an hour in waiting room, my son was brought back. Was determined he had infection and that would have to be treated prior to root canal being done. Completely understand and agree with that. Did not agree with Saint-Cyr’s empathy as a Dr delivering this news to a very worried and upset parent, me! I had tears in my eyes and was visibly upset and this endo had the warmth and compassion of a brick. I even asked to speak to him outside the room, away from my child and he was still not reassuring to a worried mom. I was treated by him as though I created this cavity. I would NEVER return and bring my child back. I will return to South Jersey Endodontics where you are treated by compassionate and caring dentists.

Dr. Saint Cyr is by far the best endodontist in the area. I was having tooth and jaw pain for weeks, my dentist referred me to an oral surgeon who wasn’t sure what was going on. Infinite was able to do a ct scan and diagnosis the problem right away, An abscess on the root under an old root canal that had a lot of calcification a.
Dr. Saint Cyr wasn’t sure if he would be able to save the tooth. He did and completed the redo root canal quickly. The office staff is wonderful and very supportive to those that fear dentists. I was very comfortable during the procedure and relieved the following day when I was no longer in pain.
The office atmosphere is actually very relaxing, I would recommend it to anyone that needs a root canal.

Coming here for a root canal was easily the biggest mistake I have ever made in my entire life. After the unprofessional dental assistant scratched the roof of my mouth with the x-​ray device, I should have fled. My aching tooth affected my better judgement so I stayed. The doctor tested my teeth and said that one of them needed a root canal. After the root canal, I was actually in more excruciating pain. The procedure did absolutely nothing to reduce my pain. I went back to this dentist who told me to wait it out (it had already been weeks). The pain was so intense that it put me in tears many times. I lost sleep, lost weight, lost many hours of my life that could have been spent doing something other than sitting in bed in pain. I went to a second endodontist for another opinion and his words destroyed me. He said I did in fact need a root canal, ON A DIFFERENT TOOTH. Yes, that is correct, Dr. Saint-​Cyr performed a root canal on a HEALTHY TOOTH!!! I am a college student without the resources to peruse a lawsuit. I spent months in excruciating unnerving pain, paid thousands of dollars, and was forced to go under the knife twice all because of the negligent incompetence of Infinite Endodontics. RUN AWAY FAST! I would hate to see another person go through the pain and stress I went through– I would never wish that on my worst enemy.

I don’t think anyone ever really looks forward to a root canal, but it is sometimes and hopefully infrequently necessary. This being my second treatment on the same tooth I decided to visit a specialist. I called to make the appointment and the staff was very friendly and professional. I arrived on site and was greeted by the staff and asked if I was in any discomfort and was offered a beverage. I sat down and was taken to receive an x-​ray after only a few minutes. After another minute or so Dr. Saint-​Cyr came into the room and greeted me and asked me if I was in any discomfort. This was the second time in less than 10 minutes that I was asked if I was in any discomfort. I was really impressed by this. They all really seemed to care. Dr. Saint-​Cyr reviewed the x-​ray and explained to me what was going to be done. I was given local anesthesia and it was by far the least painful injection I have ever received. Most of the time this is the worst part. After a few minutes and I was good and numb the Dr returned. After what seemed like less than 10 minutes it was over. I couldn’t believe it. I told Dr. Saint-​Cyr that this was probably the best dental visit I have ever had. I can honestly say that I had more discomfort during my last cleaning. I was given some pain killers a prescription and I was on my way.
I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do I know just where to go!
Also, I almost forgot I received a call from his office later that evening asking if I was feeling OK — Great Job!!!
