Crows Woods

I’m withholding a star only due to the lack of a fenced in area to go off leash. Otherwise this is a great place to bring your hound. It is a soccer/​baseball field attached to the woods, which has three short trails. The longest of them is about a mile and they all cross each other a bit.
The terrain is a good mix of short hills and flatter ground with lots of pretty streams along the trails. It is not challenging and folks of all ages and sizes would not struggle with it. The woods are a quiet trail with the occasional train going by but the tracks are securely fenced in so if your pooch is off the leash they will still be protected. Many dogs are off the leash but I have only seen very well behaved dogs in that manner and have had no experiences with aggressive dogs.
There is ample parking and a nice trail that rings the sports fields if you feel like some extra walking. Someone posted a pic of the great tire swing that is in the woods. A very pretty park!
