Clothes Works

This place is so out of the way I’m surprised even I found it. But, fellow Unilocalers, now is one of those moments when you get to take advantage of my rare talent/​radar for bargain shopping.
It’s actually wholesale. This is the beauty of this place. You get the dresses you want at the price at which other stores are getting them and marking them up from… The best part here is that they support all the larger bridal brands, so you can, say, shop After Six dresses online and go through these people to order it and get it at wholesale prices.
The ladies here are so nice. I even had a breakdown moment when I got a little mixed up and confused about the bridesmaid dresses I’d ordered. They handled it like old pros. They doted over the dresses and showed me all the good qualities and brought me back from the bridal abyss known as Bridezilla’s lair (a place I’ve been, as yet, able to avoid in this ridiculous process known as wedding planning).
For the not so greats: it’s so out of the way and it’s in a really sketchy neighborhood, the shop is not a Bridezilla’s dream so don’t expect too much fluffery (but they’re wholesale, they’re actually not there to entertain customers in the shop), they’re a little disorganized (though I think they came across this way because they don’t typically deal with smaller orders like mine, and they were so clear on what I needed to stay on top of).
For the prices though, it was so worth the drive, the not so beautiful-​ness and the fact that I had to stay on top of when my bridesmaids’ measurements came in and to get them to send the order out to the factory.
This place is awesome and any penny pincher will be very pleased with the results! This is a «value» experience, not a «cheap» one. I swear!
