Lived here for 2 years now. Yes management comes and goes, its a balancing act. However everyplace I’ve lived at that is professionally managed is like this. They did have some security issues that they addressed quickly. My place is awesome, on the corner windows from 4′ up to 10′ LOVETHELIGHT. Walking around at night hasn’t been an issue, as well as ive never had my cars touched. The apartment is a great loft open floor space and for the price a steal. Yes i could go get a place on craigslist for cheaper, but then when shit breaks cousin tommy or vinny shows up with a hammer to fix plumbing. Id rather have great maintenance people to contact. I have a great relationship with them, when i have an issue i always get a fast response. We love the fact that storage is on site, and we have a roofdeck. We do have the usual negative complainers, but they are harmless. I come and go and ive yet to have an issue that wasnt addressed quickly. The perks far outweigh the cons. I recommend people to stop by and see if its a fit for you.

Lived here for a year(2011 – 2012)and was counting down the days to the end of the lease. On the plus side– free parking, a gym, dogs allowed, nice new lofts with granite counters and new appliances for a reasonable price. The downside– the gym had constant issues that were never fully addressed(ranged from the treadmill to the bike to the elliptical being broken, to the temperature being unbearably hot or cold and constantly having to request that paper towels and spray be supplied in order to clean the machines), many of the tenants had dogs that were out of control and would aggressively bark and lunge at other dogs, some tenants were also incapable of grasping the concept of cleaning up after their dogs. There were also tenants who would let in members of the Chelsea community and offer up the common room for them(which resulted in the police being called to the building numerous times and theft of packages from he mailroom). The greenspace behind the building didn’t belong to the Atlas building, so it was a favorite spot for non residents to converge(In the time we were there we witnessed-crack smoking, pot smoking, two people having sex, etc.) We were also displeased with the constant turn over in office managers, every time we thought we were getting progress from the office manager to resolve issues with the building they would leave and a new person would come in and everything would start over. Hopefully things will improve, but i just felt that for the price of the loft in Chelsea we would be happier to move back in to Boston and live in an older not so nice apartment in a less dangerous neighborhood.

A gem just outside boston. Chelsea’s bus system gets you to haymarket in 20 minutes. Fitness room, high ceilings, competetive rent, and roofdeck make this place pretty sweet. Building is coming together nicely, and the staff,(here each day) have been attentive and super nice. I’m giving this place 5 stars.
