Affordable Family Dental

Run, run far away and find another dentist! This is the reason why people should be afraid of going to the dentist! I needed to have an emergency check up due to a cavity filling that had fallen out and was giving me problems. This location was the closest to my home in Boston, and I couldn’t wait to return back to my dentist in Hawaii, so I thought why not?
First off I feel as though they lure you into coming to this place by the receptionist and not told the truth about a wait time even if you have an appointment. Be prepared to wait for 45 minutes to an hour to see somebody after your appointment time has elapsed. Also it’s like Grand Central Station in there I’m not sure if they’re doing charity work and taking walk-​ins that are homeless but patients in there are scary.
Additionally, everyone in there is running around like chickens with their heads cut off that they really don’t have time to clean anything. This was the filthiest facility that I have ever been to. There was a residue all over the countertops, the chair, that light the dentist uses for examinations… really folks?! This is a place of where things go into peoples mouths, everything should be sanitary or at least appear to be! However, after waiting for over an hour to see somebody and being in pain what is a girl to do?
Dr. Duong was ok, however the numbing agent that they gave to me seemed as though it wasn’t as effective as others that I’ve had before so I could feel the drilling!!!
Overall I felt as though I had to go home and rinse my mouth out with hydrogen peroxide to ensure that I didnt contract any gnarly germs and burn a layer of my skin off to feel clean again. You might be better off by popping a painkiller and waiting for a real dentists office.
Affordable family dental you be scary!

I had an appointment for a cleaning and was ontime. Was told doctor was running 30 minutes late. Made to wait for 1 hour and there was still 1 person in the chair and 1 person in front of me. Front desk was not sympathetic or apologetic of making folks wait for this significant extension of time. It seemed like they overscheduled and this was a normal occurance.

Worst experience I ever had at a Dentist office. Front desk was very friendly and professional, but the rest of it was like nothing I ever experienced, and never will again.
