History

Established in 1985.

This year, QPL, Inc. Proudly Celebrates its 30th Anniversary!

Ahhh, 1985, a time of big shoulder pads and bigger hair. When Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, Wham! or Madonna were often heard on the radio. Popular shows we were watching on TV: The Golden Girls, Dynasty, Miami Vice, The Cosby Show or Murder, She Wrote. You may have gone to the movies to watch Back to the Future, Rocky IV, Rambo: First Blood II, The Breakfast Club or Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome (and the ticket cost about $ 3.50). A gallon of gas was $ 1.20, a dozen eggs cost $ 0.80, a stamp was $ 0.22 and a gallon of milk was $ 2.26. And most importantly, it was the year when Peter Derby decided to start Quick Print, now known as QPL, Inc. & The Image Group!

A lot has changed since then, but not QPL’s dedication to it’s customers. Without you, our customers, we wouldn’t be celebrating this exciting milestone. Thank you for your continued support of our business over the years — we look forward to many more years of service!

Meet the Business Owner

Maxine D.

Business Owner

President & Treasurer

Maxine joined QPL as the Vice President, Treasurer and Production Manager in February of 1987 after working as a licensed pharmacist for over 20 years. She has since taken the helm as President of the company.

Maxine enjoys running a woman-owned business and was especially pleased when the company achieved SOMWBA* certification in the spring of 2010. She enjoys the challenge of learning the intricacies of each customer’s business, what they need or want and recommending solutions that stay within their budget.

«I work with a great team of employees who all know that anything they do can make a difference,» says Maxine.
