Each visit expect to receive a Gonstead Spinal Adjustment with Extremity Manipulation, as well as Electric Stimulation (10 – 15 minutes of electronic massage while heat or ice is placed along the back or neck), a mechanical massage is administered for about five minutes, using such machines as the G5 Trigger Point machine. All these services are included each and every visit.

*Electric Stimulation cannot be used on pregnant women or people who have specific instructions from their doctor to not receive it (such as people who have had back surgery.) Some patients do not like electric stimulation or do not have time for it and can choose to go without it any visit.*

Take Home Supports

Dr Fischer keeps a number of supportive therapy items in stock. He sometimes suggests lumbar support belts to help the lower back on a day to day basis. He also stocks orthotics for your shoes, which help to align the back; TENS Units which are lower powered portable Electronic Stimulation machines; BIO

Although many people think that chiropractic is just for the treatment of their back or neck, …this is an incorrect assumption. Chelmsford Chiropractic Center focuses on the health of the whole body! Believe it or not, headaches can be caused by a misalignment of the neck. Your knee or elbow joints can hurt if a hip or shoulder is out of place. Dr. Fischer manipulates the spine and extremities and realigns the bones to where they’re supposed to be. This treatment does take time but compared to the time for recovery and rehabilitation after surgery, it is a much better option for most people. Chiropractic is a good alternative for those too young or too old for surgery, or those who are experiencing some back pain too mild for surgery, but intense enough to cause discomfort and/​or interfere with activities of daily living.

Dr. Karl B. Fischer, Jr. has been a privately practicing chiropractor over 20 years and has seen over 3,800 people in this practice alone. He is an alumnus of Life Chiropractic College, the largest chiropractic college in the world. In 1995 Dr. Fischer was the President of Middlesex Chiropractic Society.
