History

Established in 2004.

Ancient Echos Arts is a pottery located at 19 Alpine Lane, Chelmsford, that sells handmade functional and non-​functional stoneware such as trays, dinner ware, and serving pieces. In addition, Sharon Levy makes contemporary Judaica suitable for gifts and personal use. We also teach classes in hand-​building and wheel-​throwing clay for adults and children. Gift certificates are available and some commissions accepted.

30 years ago my youngest child was in nursery school and gave me the gift of time. Ever since I’ve been honoring nature and my creative spirit thru clay. I incorporate the natural world thru the use of natural and altered edges of both hand-​built and wheel-​thrown stoneware vessels. The offertory essence of bowls is emphasized by the fine high foot that accentuates each piece. How amazing it is to make something from nothing!
