Real Adventours

Kathy was crazy, fun and delightful. After our tour, we wanted to go to the store for a few snacks to bring back with our wine. She took us to the health food store in town for some amazing cheeses and chocolate and other fun stuff. She knows the town well and the whole thing was an experience we won’t soon forget!

Had a great tour with my husband and Father In Law the day after Thanksgiving with Kathy! She is amazing and goes above and beyond to make your experience unique and tailored to your needs. We have never been to the area and really «did not have a plan» other than to go to a few wineries. Kathy seemed to know just about EVERYONE in the area– winery or not. She has a fine reputation, this was evident by the VIP treatment we received at the 5 + locations we visited.
She works hard and seemingly around the clock, even sending us (via text) ideas the night PRIOR to our tour of possibilities for things to do in Chelan — Very Handy!
The day of the tour was just as lovely, she patiently took pictures whenever we asked her to with cellphones and our «regular camera» and even mailed us a few prints she had taken with her camera. Her vehicle was clean and we always felt safe and were very comfortable. Additionally, there was a light lunch of delicious snacks of local fare like hummus and chips, very yummy.
As was mentioned in other reviews, we were allowed to exceed our allotted time, nice because we then visited a brewery which was was a good contrast in the day. Again, all of this seems to be nothing out of the ordinary for an extraordinary business owner like Kathy.
The only reason less than 5 stars may have been given would be by a SERIOUS wine aficionado– which my My Father in law is — who appreciates a wealth of information about THE WINES themselves, vintages, grapes, history, at each WINERY. He felt she could have had more detailed knowledge about that aspect since it was, after all, a wine tour. She did know a lot about the contents (or lack thereof, of the gift shops at each of the wineries, and since I was holiday shopping at the time it was very useful ;) Ultimately, her extremely solid customer service won and Real Adventours gets a 5 star overall rating.
When we travel here again with friends, a girls weekend, etc, will DEFINITELY be booking them as they suit us perfectly. Professional yet laid back and offering a multitude of great options for making sweet memories. Thank You Kathy and Real Adventours for making our first visit safe, relaxing and FUN.

We had four people and did a wine tour for 4 hours. We had no idea where we wanted to go or see but Kathy did a great job putting together a variety of wineries to hit.
She was very professional and introduced us to the owners at each winery. She also was very informative on stuff going on in town.
Our tour ran over almost an hour, and she was very polite and helpful even then. We never felt rushed.
In the end she even left us with some delicious hummus!

Bill and Kathy are the best! Very accommodating to your needs, and extremely knowledgeable of the area! I came up for a girls trip, and Bill made sure to take us to wineries that had amazing wine, and where the wine owners would treat us right! I will definitely call Real Adventours next year when we return for our yearly girls weekend! Thank you Bill and Kathy for being so amazing!

Real Adventours made our weekend. My BFF and I were in town for a girls weekend and wanted to go wine tasting without the hassle of driving. We were also both new to the area and had no clue which wineries to pick. We had looked into limos but with only two of us, the minimum passenger requirements and cost for the big limos was prohibitive.
Enter Bill, with his charming and friendly style, ready-​to-​rock jeep and extensive knowledge of the area. We put ourselves in his hands and he took excellent care of us, showing us wineries we would not have discovered otherwise including Hard Row to Hoe and Ventimiglia. He also showed us some scenic viewpoints, talked about the history of the area, and shared his candy.
Those little touches mean a lot in the service industry and Bill exceeded expectations — carrying and storing our wine in back of the jeep, opening doors, and introducing us directly to the tasting counter staff (and owners!).
The jeep was a blast. It felt more our style — down to earth, rough and tumble and still spacious and comfortable.
Not only will I be using Real Adventours again in the future, I will recommend them to all far and wide, and be sending family and friends to them for a tour (perhaps as a unique gift!)
Increase your enjoyment of wine tasting and hire a knowledgeable tour guide like Bill or Kathy, his partner in life and business! They are truly a pleasure.
