PriceRite of Cheektowaga

It incenses me when people get snooty about grocery stores! I personally love Price Rite! They have many unusual items you don’t see @ other stores, LOW prices, and I would compare their produce to both Wegman’s and Tops @ half the price here in WNY! I’ve passed along my positive opinions to other shoppers who, some of which, turn up there noses and reply that it’s dirty. Dirty??? Seriously??? I think what these so called experts are referring to is the fact that it’s warehouse type set up. No fancy/​phoney shelves… ya know, just like BJ’s or Sam’s for those who go there. I don’t see a thing dirty about it. Depending on what I need, I shop @ Tops, Wegman’s, Price Rite, Walmart, Market-​in-​the-​Square and Target. It’s true you cannot shop your entire weekly menu @ Price Rite since they don’t have every variety or brand, which is probably how they keep the prices so low. However, when I need great produce, Italian dairy/​cold cut products, dairy in general, and some meat products, I go there first, then to other stores where I complete my list. Their prices are phenomenal and who cares if you bag your own items. Give them a chance, I know you’ll agree! But a word of caution… if you see a great deal, grab it since TJ Maxx, or Big Lots, it may not be there the next time!

We usually get Groceries at Meijer or Kroger in Michigan, having been to Pricerite it seems Michigan shops in luxury. There was some unique grocery items, but the selection was vague for everything and they had little yogurt or produce. It dosnt help when people bang you with carts as well and do not apologize. When you check out you also have to «go to the side» and bag your own groceries among the clutter of the crowd. We wanted to go back to Wegmans food which is more classic but at this time we were not near that area of town.
