Specialties

Seven Springs Farm CSA offers seasonal shares in sustainably grown vegetables and eggs. Members join for the season and receive fresh vegetables and eggs each week from mid May to early December. The food is delivered to drop sites in Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Floyd. Get more information and sign up on our website. Grass fed beef is also available, sold by the quarter, half, or whole steer and picked up in early December.

History

Established in 1990.

Seven Springs Farm was established in 1990 by Polly Hieser and Ron Juftes, two organic horticulturalists who moved to Floyd County VA for it’s beauty and strong community. In 1991 they started the first Community Supported Agriculture farm in the area, and it has served the Roanoke and New River Valleys and Floyd County for 24 years. Polly now runs the farm with her husband Nii Anang, a musician and dancer from Ghana. Seven Springs Farm CSA supports low income families by offering scholarships to subsidize the share price.
